The media could not be loaded. This little incubator is quite a simple model. Great for a beginner or no-nonsense hatching pro. Nothing to it. Put your eggs in, add water, and you're on your way. It reads in Celsius, has an instruction manual, and even comes with an outside water source. They have also included styrofoam outside the incubator for those colder evenings, and that's when you have to set the water bottle on the styrofoam square that comes with it. That's it. Great little incy and it was a reasonable price too. Holds 12 eggs.

I'm hatching an egg for the first time, because a pigeon laid it on my patio and didn't like the rudimentary nesting box I made for her. I looked on Vine and decided to try to hatch the little one when I saw this incubator listed a suggestion for me. I got excited and here I am. :) Since I'm brand new to doing this all I can say is that this unit works great. It was super easy to set up, it turns the egg on it's own, the heat has stayed steady the last 5 days, and the egg is progressing nicely. I'm learning everything from YouTube, and the egg has signs of life. :) As long as the embryo is healthy I have every confidence that this incubator will bring her into the world safe and sound. The only thing that's hard, in my uneducated opinion, is getting water into the unit using the bottle and tube, and not being able to see how much water's in the unit. So far I keep getting water everywhere, but I know it's user error and nothing negative about this machine. If anything changes I'll change this review. Edit: I'm removing a star due to the very bad design of adding water to this unit. I've tried everything I can think of to keep from losing water as I attempt to re-attach the water bottle to the hose without success. I've yet to think of another way to keep the water level good without water going everywhere in my attempt to refill it. There's no way to see where the water level is without opening the unit and removing the egg, which I really don't want to do. I looked at the instructions and this issue isn't addressed.
