Our outdoor seating area was constantly bombarded by squirrels dropping acorns and sap from the fir trees. This umbrella covered the entire seating area and has made our outdoor experience so much better. Not hard to assemble, nice looking and very effective. It is large (10 x13) so we were worried a big wind would break it. We attached bungees to 3 points and have never had a problem with the wind. This umbrella is beautiful. It completely covers my whole patio set and it was easy to put together. Beside this umbrella being huge and beautiful. The manufacture is 5 star. The metal broke within 2 months of use, no warranty. I was foolish enough to buy another one. Within 1 month the metal broke again with a breeze, not heavy winds. DO NOT BUY THIS UMBRELLA!

    • Nicely made, mostly sturdy catilever umbrella.

I bought this to replace a 'center pole' umbrella for my deck table, which was sturdy, but in heavy winds would shift the table around, fall sideways and stripped the thread on the pole which screwed into the base. I bought the 250lb base recommended for it, filled it with sand, and the umbrella's been mostly sturdy. The wife likes it, 'cos it doesn't get in the way of the table. I like it, because it doesn't shift the table around and with the sand vs water in it, it's been solid through some storms. I'm knocking off 1 star though because it *is* a bit floppy around the top. It sways and the cantilevered arm *looks* kind of flimsy and like it might bend / come loose after some time, even in very *very* light wind scenarios. ... show more

This umbrella seems to be good quality, strong and durable. It wasn't too difficult to assemble either. Although the instructions it comes with are pretty bad to be honest.

Instructions could have been better. The base is severely over priced. you can find a more affordable base on home depot. The umbrella was suppose to have a cover but there was no cover included. I have trouble reaching out to the company for the cover.
