I have owned this style of stainless steel garden hose for the last 3 years, and only kept one of my larger 5/8" ID rubber hoses for certain uses. These hoses are light to handle, hard to tangle and eliminate the 'wrestling match' that some of even the best rubber hoses can cause you! Be aware that this smaller 1/2" diameter hose has less volume, so it will also have less pressure, at the end. THIS HOSE is very well made and I was impressed that it came with a total of 4 rubber washers, so you have a complete 'extra' set, over the two you need. The seller included a small roll of teflon tape for the threads, which is a nice extra, although I didn't find it necessary to use, and got a very good seal just using the rubber washers. You will probably find that tape useful for other tasks, so stash it in your tools, or spare supplies, if you don't need it on your hose connections to get a good seal. The brass fittings for connecting the hose, are sturdy and easy enough to grip. I have left this style hose out in the direct sun for 2 summers in a row, and it didn't affect them at all, so they can take the heat! I do drain all my hoses and store them in the garage during Winter. ***(TIP: NEVER leave a hose connected to your outside hydrant if the temperature is dropping below freezing, or you could damage your plumbing lines and possibly cause a water leak inside your home.) This 10 foot length is perfect for many uses, when you don't want to deal with a 50 or 100 foot hose, or can also be used as a leader hose from the house to a hose reel, an extension for another hose, etc......It's just a real HANDY SIZE hose to have on hand. I'm very pleased with the quality of this hose, and know it will be used for many different uses, so I highly recommend it!

This is the second hose like this I’ve ordered. I really like them. They last for a long time! They don’t kink up and are very light weight and easy to reel in. The body is made out of stainless steel and this particular hose has brass fittings. The 10ft length is great for using in a small area. They also work well as a replacement hose for the hose reels that usually come with the plastic attachment hose. That’s what I’m using this one for. It doesn’t leak when you move the hose reel around…it’s also nice to have the extra length to move it further from the spicket head. (I would give it 5 stars but it won't let me select that first star).

This garden hose functions as you were expect. It connected tightly to the outdoor spigot easily. It connects so well that its actually pretty darn difficult to get it back off. But the best part is that it doesn't kink. Not at all. Without thinking i tried to kink it like an ordinary hose to stem the flow of water while I went to the next plant, but it wasn't having it. I will be investing in quick connections to solve the disconnect issue (and save my poor arthritic hands). Great product. Tough, durable, dependable.

I love this hose. I have a 50 foot one like it in my front yard that I adore, so when I saw this one, I had to have it. It took about 2 seconds to install. It's super easy. I ran over it with my car, and it was ok. They're really hard to destroy. I did find out that while the hose is really hard to damage with anything like running over it, stepping on it, etc., I will caution you to not put too much pressure on the hose when it's laying over on top of itself. In other words, the hose is very, very hard to destroy, but it is tough enough to hurt itself. It's not bad, though, I just bent it a little. It still works perfectly. I replaced a traditional rubber hose with this metal one, and the water comes out of this hose very fast. You don't have to turn the water on very high to get a very powerful stream. You would think the hose would get super hot in the summer sun, but it really doesn't. It will get warm, but somehow it doesn't even get as hot as the old rubber hoses get. In the hottest part of the summer, it takes forever for the water to run cold when using one of the rubber hoses, but it takes about half the time or less to get cold water out of these metal hoses. It's also much harder for them to get tangled up, and kinks just don't happen. You would also assume that the metal hoses are uber heavy, but they're just not. They're not really any heavier than regular hoses. For less than 20.00, it's a great buy. This hose is going to last longer than your car. Highly recommend.

This 10 ft stainless steel garden hose is a great little hose for quick outdoor jobs. You can use it at home, but I see more use for it in my RV. The stainless steel outer layer feels much more durable than regular rubber or vinyl hoses and does a great job resisting kinks and tangles. Stainless steel hoses are popular in home hoses as water supply lines to your toilet and sinks because they are puncture-resistant and less likely to burst than traditional hoses. So why not use them for the same purpose in your RV. The 3/4" solid brass fittings are another big plus—they connect securely without leaking and feel sturdier than cheap plastic connectors. It also offers better durability and corrosion resistance over time. Additionally, water flow is solid for a compact hose, and the lightweight design makes it easy to carry around. Even though it’s only 10 feet long, this hose is very practical for small spaces and easy storage. And agin, an RV campsite is typically designed where your water connections are not very far from the water source.

As a country girl raising animals on a rural property, standard rubber garden hoses are the bane of my existence. They twist, crack under UV exposure, and constantly kink when you are trying to maneuver around tight corners. I picked up this 10-foot stainless steel shorty hose to use exclusively in the barn for filling livestock water buckets. PROS: Zero Kinking: The interlocking metal casing glides smoothly around post corners, stalls, and buckets without cutting off the water pressure. Solid Hardware Fittings: The 3/4" solid brass connections lock tight to the spigot with heavy-duty threads that completely eliminate slow leaks and spray-back. Highly Maneuverable: It is remarkably lightweight, making it incredibly easy to quickly drain and coil over a hook with one hand. CONS: Longevity Concerns: While the outer casing is highly durable, the thin interior vinyl bladder makes me wonder exactly how long it will hold up under daily, rugged barn use. So far, it has handled the pressure fine, but time will tell. Highly Specific Length: At only 10 feet, this is strictly a close-range utility hose. Rating: 4/5 Stars

Really like these shorter metal clad garden hoses. I find them to be more flexible and easier to attach to the spigots, especially those that are mounted too close to the ground or patio. Being only 10-feet long they are easier to transport than the standard 25-foot rubber or vinyl hoses plus you don’t have to worry about getting your hands dirty like you do with the rubber ones. When the forecast calls for freezing temps they can be drained and rolled up in seconds without having to stretch them out across the yard of deck. This one appears to be well constructed with brass connectors at each end. The metal cladding along the hose protects the internal tubing, helps prevent kinks, and makes it easier to roll up and transport. The one thing that did catch me off guard was the inner diameter of the hose being so much smaller in diameter than my standard 3/4" hose. After doing some measurements the diameter of the metal hose is actually about 1/3 as large! I found that funny because I had used the hose for weeks without that ever being an issue all the times I used it! Might take a little longer to fill a container but is anybody really going to notice? That being the case I think the advantages of this hose far offset the more restricted flow rate which seems to be adequate for my needs. Would still highly recommend this a good value for the price.
