I’ve always used the typical plastic garden hoses, and without fail they would crack, kink, leak, or just get completely busted up after a couple of years. It got frustrating constantly replacing them, so I decided to try something different—and I’m really glad I did. This is my first metal garden hose, and honestly, I’m impressed right away. The first thing I noticed is how TOUGH it feels. The outer metal layer gives it a really solid, durable construction that seems like it can handle being dragged across rough surfaces like concrete, gravel, or around corners without getting damaged. With my old hoses, I always had to be careful not to snag or twist them, but this one feels like it can take a beating. At the same time, it’s not nearly as heavy as I expected. I assumed a metal hose would be bulky and hard to move around, but it’s actually pretty lightweight and flexible, which makes it easy to carry and reposition as I’m watering different areas. Know what you’re buying first, but I really like this hose. The hose is like your shower handheld sprayer hose, it is flexible and doesn’t kink and I found this one to not want to hold a twist as much as other which is nice. The diameter is smaller so you will have less flow/pressure but it is more than enough for what I am using (gardening). The fittings work great and it comes with silicone rings and some plumbers tape to seal up your threads when connecting. It’s not the highest quality hose out there but it’s a ok value for what it is. This is why I’m deducting one star. So, my dog is an unashamed destroyer of everything. She dug up my entire sprinkler system and ate it. Since I can’t have anything nice, I’m forced to hand water my grass and hide the hoses in the garage. She’s destroyed half a dozen hoses at least. This hose is the answer to a bad dog’s bad habits. She doesn’t touch this hose and I can hang it in a hose real like a normal person. She can’t chew it or harm it in any way. That one tough hose! I also like that this hose doesn’t kink. No more turning on the hose and trying to figure out how to lay it just right so the water will flow. It doesn’t kink, doesn’t tie itself in knots and works perfectly. I’m very happy with this hose. The short length is nice for watering my nearby plants that the dog hasn’t eaten without tons of excess hose laying around. Five stars! ... show more
