  • Great Value - Suggestion for manufacturer
Pattern Name: Flat Size: 9.2’L x 18.7’W x 6.4’H
I love the value of this product. It's big and it's easy to put together. However, I'm using this for a chicken run and I think that's a pretty common use case for others buying this. Everyone into chicken keeping knows you have to wrap their run in hardware cloth to really make it predator-proof...not wide holed chain link fencing (like a dog fence). This product still works...I just toss the chain-link roll and buy hardware cloth and wrap the frame for my chickens. My HUGE SUGGESTION FOR THE MANUFACTURER/SELLER - offer an option without the chain link roll. I imagine that's the most expensive part to ship and lots of us don't need it. Offer a discounted price and just sell the frame. Or, offer a more expensive option that comes with the necessary 1/2 inch hardware cloth roll(s) instead. ... show more

  • Support below the tarp w/a panel to prevent rain collectin.
Pattern Name: Flat Size: 9.2’L x 18.7’W x 6.4’H
I recommend to use something (wood or metal panels or other support) under the tarp so that the rain does not collect on the tarp and create a heavy rain belly/pouch that can rip through the chicken wire.

  • Love it.
Pattern Name: Flat Size: 9.2’L x 6.2’W x 6.4’H
It was easy enough to put together. We ended up purchasing stronger zip ties to hold the wire into the frame as the ones that came in the package weren’t very good. The chickens love it. I did find that with keeping the top covered all the time and only lifting the sides the water collects on the tarp and I have to go in and push from underneath to get the water off of the tarp. This summer I will remedy that and come up with something that keeps the tarp up high enough so the water doesn’t collect there. ... show more

  • Pace Yourself
Pattern Name: Flat Size: 9.2’L x 12.5’W x 6.4’H
The best advise I can give is to pace yourself. You throw the frame together pretty quick and this this is going to be a simple project, yet your just getting started. The frame is the easy part, with spring loaded tabs that just pop into place very easily. When you get to the door it is 10x more complicated with clamping brackets you need to bolt together. I'm not sure why we went from easy pre-made joints to bolt together clamps for the door? When you get that put together you have to figure out the door frame with the same clamps. Aligning everything to get it to fit correctly and swing freely takes some time. Finally when your through that you get to the worst part, the wire mesh. As someone else mentioned they give you barely enough to complete the frame and the end of the roll is garbage. The last 4-5 feet was full of broken links, creases and messed up coating, totally unusable. When you overlap the wire I wouldn't go any more that 4-5 inches or you will run out. you can used either zip ties or wire to attached, but I don't think they give you enough of either. The bailing wire is thin and so are the zip ties. Honestly, get your own and save yourself the headache. Last but not least the wire is not predator proof so you will need to add your own welded wire at the bottom when your done. It honestly took me close to 8 hours to do this by myself. If I had to do it over I would have built it out of wood and numaticly stapled the welded wire. It would have been easier. ... show more

  • It is what I wanted and needed
Pattern Name: Flat Size: 9.2’L x 12.5’W x 6.4’H
I use this to keep my garden in to protect from various critters and it does a great job...I think you have to have 2 people to put together and I purchased heavy duty zip ties to replace what they sent...got one last spring, did well so purchased another and doubled my space...added my own raised beds and ready to go...no problems to date ... show more

  • No replacement parts but good structure
Pattern Name: Spire Size: 9.8’L x 13.1’W x 6.4’H
Poles snap together so secure. Instead of plastic ties to attach caging used wrapped wire wrapped onto poles and through caging. Door hard to fit so added folded wire caging 4 inches to door edge to keep chickens in and predators out. Coated caging wire bit through by fox so added galvanized caging wire from ground poles to 1.5 feet where exposed, stopped holes. If doing alone, start caging before put on last 2 upright posts so can do on ground not on ladder. Took full day to snap together and wire 2 sides and top panels. Needed next day to finish caging and cover with sun screen and tarp. ... show more

Update! My review must be changed! 2 days later I received a second box with all my missing hardware. Not sure if this was shipped as 2 boxes or of customer service made it right. Either way, im happy now! Thanks! My chickens are gonna be even happier! Missing all hardware and instructions. No contact support whatsoever ever. Have to wait for mailing label to be emailed to return this monstrosity. Then wait for refund. $325 Disappointment! ... show more
