A few years ago I bought an aquarium from PetSmart but I quickly upgraded my filter. Well, that filter died after 2 years and I was able to pull out the original filter that came with the tank. Thank God I had gotten these Zuqqony filters that fit that original filter because I was quickly able to get the water moving and filtering waste again. I’m sure I would have lost a few fish if I would have had to wait until my lunch break on Monday to run to the store and then go home and get things set up. I avoided that hassle because these fit like they were supposed to. Not only do they fit but they do a good job. I’ve got more in my Fish wishlist for future purchase.

These fish filters are really nice! I had previously been using the kind where you have to put in the carbon on your own and insert the little plastic piece to hold it closed. While it's easy, it's messy and time consuming. These are all put together for you! All you do is rinse them a little and they're ready to work! Now…these say that they also have zeolite. I've never used filters with such before but I hope it's beneficial and will keep my aquarium cleaner for longer. I haven't noticed a difference but they certainly work at least as well as my previous filters. All in all, this is an excellent alternative to the diy-ish filters that I mentioned earlier. Also a more valuable alternative to some of the more 'name brand’ varieties. No purpose paying extra for a name when these work just as well!

This is a pack of 15 filter cartridges with dimensions of 4.5" x 6.0", in accordance with the description. The cartridges are sturdily made; I have no concerns that the mesh will come loose or carbon will leak out. Each cartridge has a contoured plastic tab on the top that makes it easy to grip. The mesh is the right density to trap particulate matter without getting clogged up too quickly. There is a decent amount of carbon inside, and it is reasonably spread out throughout the cartridge to make contact with the water that flows through. I put this in my filter yesterday, and 24 hours later the water is clear and fish are healthy. Overall, this is a good product, and I would get it again.

The fish filters are really nice and work great. They have carbon on the top and bottom portions and a decent amount too. These fit my internal Tetra Whisper filter and are same size as the blue and white size large cartridges. The large pack is a good value as filter cartridges have been rising in cost and I recommend these highly.

The Zuqqony 15 Pack PF-L Filter Cartridges for Top Fin Silenstream PF20, PF30, PF40 and PF75 was requested to use in our 55-gal TopFin 75 HOB. It would be difficult to distinguish the Zuqqony filters from OEM filters but be aware that the charcoal produces dust that can make the filter appear as if it has already been used. I had about 4 filters that were pretty well saturated in charcoal dust. Just be sure to rinse the filter very well before inserting it into your HOB. And, I would use H2O treated with Seachem Prime, or, use some water from your aquarium for the rinsing. But, I'm sure you already know why the filters need rinsed. A good product in my opinion.

These filters seem to be just as good as the name brand filters. There is a very slight variation in the physical appearance of frame and handle but that's the only difference I can detect. Holding them up to a light side by side it actually appears this one has slightly more charcoal in it. They fit inside the filters perfectly and are catching the junk as good as the name brand. And it's a good value as you get 15 instead of only 12. I will switch to this brand from here forward.

I've been buying the name brand filters for my 40 gallon tank and thought I'd try these as an alternative. They look identical to the ones I've been using and so far they seem to be working well. It feels like there's a bit more carbon material between the layers than in the name brand filters I've had. There was also some carbon powder residue in the box packaging. I would give them a good rinse before using. I'm happy with these though and I'll be coming back to get more for my aquarium. I think they're an excellent value for the price!
