If you have ever purchased a so-called "expandable" hose, you probably had some challenges. They kink easily, are notoriously flimsy, and impede water flow because of the accordian-like design. This hose has none of those problems. We've had a couple of them for years. I needed another hose for an extension to get to a spot further from our faucet and bought a purportedly super-duper expandable hose at a big box store just because it was handy and they did not have a Zero-G on the shelf. It was horrible. I'd forgotten how bad the expandables were. I returned it the next day and ordered a Zero-G from Amazon. It cost twice as much as the expandable one I returned, and it's worth every cent. We store these on a simple caddy that attaches to the wall. I actually built a stand for our caddy so I can move it around and not have to drill into the wall. The hose is easy to handle and very dependable. Fittings on the expandables tend to tear and leak. I find that these hoses are terrific for jobs where you are running long distances - they are very light weight and easy to move around & connect. I use them for watering my lawn & newly planted seed & sod. They are not as great for standard around-the-house hose applications, for the simple reason that they kink easy. Sometimes I read reviews and wonder if the company has written this review. Not this one. I use my hoses non stop. Lots of gardens. I’ve tried the collapsible hoses. Convenient, but Junk. Always spring a leak. I’m lucky to get 1 season out of it. Zero G is light weight and has a cover on it that protects it from getting holes due to sharp objects. Surprised as we have had fairly good luck with this brand. That it is the very best water hose they will ever buy. I bought a 100 ft last year and it has been great. This year well maybe I don't need to spend that much money on another one for the front yard big mistake both of the cheap ones busted out the sides on the 2nd time I used them.
