I love this carpet. It slips around easily though but I bought some sticky tape for underneath it and it stays in place. We have a cat that sheds and I have to vacuum constantly, so if you have animals thats shed, you will be busy vacuuming a lot. It is gorgeous though!

I paid $60 for this rug. It might be considered worth a little more given overall rug prices, but this is not some "super bargain" deal on a nice rug. Our FR throw rugs are high traffic to/from the backyard so between multiple human and pet trips every day the rugs in this room get a workout. Typically figure to spend $150 for something decent enough but also not concerned with replacing every 3 years. This rug fits the bill. I expect it to wear out sooner rather than later but the pattern is cool and colors fit the room nicely. The pictures are accurate. The fabric is soft (like heavy fabric softener soft) but it is overall a thin rug. One last comment: Rug as delivered measures 5'.2" x 7'.5". That 7" might not seem too much shorter than a standard 5 x 8 but you can definitely tell when you lay it out. ... show more

I had just returned another carpet that had perfect coloring (for my prior cream and yellow walls) and was excited to get it, but it ended up being horrendously misaligned in the print and the colors were so off. So my bar was already low but I went for this. I am so relieved. It is surprisingly soft that I don't really wear socks all that much because I like how it feels on my feet. The sides were bent up and wouldn't lay flat on the floor and I actually had a huge fold/crease in the middle of the whole rug because it was rolled up over the crease and pressed it down from the factory kinda merging it into the fabric. All I had to do was flip the carpet over and roll it the other way and the edges stayed down. You don't even need tape. As for the crease, it took a bit. I took out some of my heavy wooden shelves from my bookshelf and just laid them flat over the creases so they would flatten them out and left them there for two days. When I removed them, there wasn't such a horrible crease, just a bit of remnant of it. Over a week, just walking over it made it go away. Now it's like there never was one. So it'll be disappointing at first when you get the carpet and deal with it not being flat/creasing, but I promise they are easy to get rid off after a bit. After sending back the first carpet, I went with this and liked it so much I decided to basically remodel everything around it. Yes, I know I have to iron my new curtains. I just painted the living room too, I'm tired. Also, look at my cute cat. She's 17 years old. You can see the old in her face. She was all black once. ... show more
