He had been rolling out of bed so much that he went to the ER the last few times it happened. I bought him this so when he rolls like a crocodile he doesn't fall out the bed. Since installing it, he has not falled out of bed. My mom watched him roll really hard one night and thought he was gunna bring it down, but it stayed solid against him. He got a bruise from that roll, but putting a pillow between the rail and him helped solve that problem. He is now able to get in and out of bed alot easier, no more 3am Emergency room visits. This will definitely keep your loved one from getting out of bed. I give it 3 stars because the clips are a type of cotter pin that you have to fully take out to swing the guard down. Also when swinging the guard down, the "magnet" for the LED light is so weak it falls off constantly. The light is super bright though. If they could modify the clips and give a better mounting solution for the light it'd be a perfect solution. ... show more

Came on time and is a sturdy bedrail system. The only problem with it is that the assembly instructions are printed so small that I couldnt read them. I tried a magnifying glass but that didnt help. Thankfully there is an assembly video on Amazon and that did the trick.

absolutely the worst assembly instructions possible. parts description does not exactly match actual parts. you need a magnifying glass to read anything!!!!!!!!! 4 stupid microscopic pictures is not acceptable!!!!!!!!!!! one part has 2 plastic inserts. if you use the plastic parts and insert the piece, it throws off the geometry and then the adjustable parts are off alignment and will not slide!!!!!!!!!!! AND what am I supposed to do with that STUPID strap!!!!!!!!!! ... show more
