This item made both sides of our old Ikea tubular metal double bed comfortable again. I jad been kind of rolling off the edge before placing it under the mattress. Now I feel like Im lying flat instead on on s slop. Simple but effective product. I bought the double bed size. The item has a wood frame all around each of the two sides. Love love love it! I got this for extra support because the wood slats felt like I was gonna brake them every time I moved! Super easy installation of course and it adds a little height to the bed so that's a plus for me.

I used these for extra support right over the already present wooden slats that come with the bed frame. Came in perfect condition, was able to easily set up and has been sturdy ever since. I will say not to expect it to be a perfect tight fit. The queen size one has about an inch gap on both sides. I have a second bunkie board exactly like this in my guest room by a different company and it's the same with that one too. So I'm assuming this is normal with this design in general. But overall the matress fits right over it just fine. No sagging from the sides or anything. Picture makes the bed frame look exposed but the comforter covers it well. ... show more

I didn't want a box spring as I considered it old school. However, I realized I needed something so my king mattress doesn't hang through the slits of the bed frame. I was so happy to find this product. I purchased one for my son's bed and it fit perfectly. Months later I realized I need one for my bed. It's a little pricey but take the plunge! It's well worth it. I don't feel like the bed is sinking anymore as the support is perfect! It was easy to inbox and fold onto my bed. I used a measuring tape to make sure it fit as I thought I need to cali king but nope, the king fold was perfect.
