This rack is heavy which is good, not going to worry that it is going to break going down the highway, but bad when I carry it, i actually use a 2 wheel canoe carrier to move it around, bikes are very stable in the rack, I like the rubber latching straps, and the folding mechanism which has a lock to prevent it from unlatching Figured out pretty quickly to load the ebikes by lifting the front tire to the end of the rack and then lift the back of the bike as you roll it into position on the rack. The main reason I bought this rack is that one of our bikes is a step through so the way that the center posts of this rack attache to the vertical seat post works well with a step through type bike I too had two holes in the front tire shoes that did not line up, wondering if i would have swapped the shoes if everything would have matched up, but they have four 3/8 bolts that hold these on so i just left the one out that Would not line up, you couldn’t knock them off with a stick of dynamite, overall a very nice well built sturdy stable rack. ... show more

Despite some of the reviews. It went together easy all bolt holes aligned. It is well built. The anti rattle hitch is a plus since I do not need to add one. The center support give you many options to secure an e bike. My only issue was shipping. Took 6 days to show up at Amazon. Then it looks like Amazon lost at its warehouse since it spent a few days there. 4 days late from first estimate. Rack gets a 5 star but the order and delivery gets a 3 star ... show more

It’s a bit tedious to put together and we had some issues that my clever son found solutions, but once put together, the rack is great! The hardest part is getting the bike up and on the racks. A little ramp will help. But the bikes are super stable while in transit. I’d buy it again…as long as I have my clever son for solutions while putting together. =) ... show more

    • This is NOT an Aluminum Bike Rack - - it is HEAVY STEEL Frame with Aluminum Runners...

This unit is advertised as an ALUMINUM Bike Rack... the entire frame is Heavy Steel, and only the runners are aluminum. You can't use a locking pin to lock it to your car, via the hitch, because they put a threaded bolt in the hitch pin hole, preventing the use of a standard locking pin. Rack is very nice, but very heavy and awkward because of the use of heavy steel. ... show more

Price was right. Very sold, folds up when not in use. Heavy, but I’m able to lift and attach to hitch fairly easy. What I like are the movable posts that come up between the e-bikes. It allows you to connect these rubber mounts to wide frame areas and a rubberized covered strap goes around very securely. This rack seems like it won’t ruin your paint on long drives. Very sturdy and well engineered. Exactly what I was looking for in a bike rack that will be used on a class a RV and a normal vehicle. Also has a threaded post that goes through the hitch. When righted we’ll, there is no wiggle in the bike rack like my old one. Recommend this. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Terrible assembly, Holes do not line up on the tire rack to the frame. Got aggravated after spending over 1 hour trying to get it to fit. Very disappointed with the quality control. Customer Service is terrible, it takes 48 hours form them to respond, and every time you reply it takes another 48 to get a response. They ask not logical questions and do not understand their product. They reply at about 1:30 a.m. via email only. I Guess i have to modify it myself. Looks like it is built well, heavy duty. UPDATE: Company finally responded and offered a $50 discount to have me drill out the holes, so i accepted. Works Good Now, Very well built. ... show more

I like the way that this bike rack is built. It is sturdy at the mid point and the far ends don't flex or sag. It's design enables me to load/unload it to my truck and bikes on and off all by myself. I had a cheaper, different rack previously that required a helper for me to get the bikes on it.
