Had to get us to the dash cam app considering you have to put your phone into airplane mode and turn on the cameras Wi-Fi to get any footage. Ive seen other reviews where they said the camera stop recording at certain points but that has never happened to me. Other than that it works perfect max camera quality is chef kiss perfect. Wouldn’t want any other brand. Definitely would order again if need be Edit So I’ve had this camera for a few months now and as I stated previously the camera works phenomenal however the Bluetooth built-in Wi-Fi control system thingies is a very slow you have to put your phone on airplane mode and turn on the built-in Wi-Fi just to be able to see the videos that’s on your saved on your camera from the app. Or you have to buy a 50 cm mini data cable in order to upload them to your computer which I cannot find at any local store. Anyways my problem is not with the product itself it’s just with the app and not being efficient. Like if I am In a car accident and need to pull up videos quick that will not possible with the app for the camera ... show more

Update #2 - It's been 9 months and after formatting the SD card a second time, it appears that the original issue with corrupted files has not returned. Cameras are still working well. Update #1 - after the (formatted) SD card filled up, the camera failed to properly overwrite data, so I've been driving around for a month with the camera indicating that it's recording, but actually not recording. There are several corrupted files listed with strange dates, so I'll have to reformat and hope it works. Box includes everything you need for install, even a trim tool. The best part are little plastic cellophane things that look like phone screen protectors. They have no adhesive but apparently use static electricity to stick to your windshield or tint, so that you don't stick the cameras directly to your windows. This makes removal clean, and easy, and prevents you from tearing up your tint. Some things that weren't clear that you may be helpful: the front camera slides sideways off of the gps/mount, so you can easily hide it if you want to. Both cameras can be mounted upside down if necessary, the system has an option to flip the image. A usb microsd reader is included to easily view and copy videos into your PC. Files are saved with date/time file names in mp4 format, labeled front and rear. You can play using any video player software. If you have GPS turned on in device settings, the date and time will automatically set themselves, but you have to have the correct time zone set. GPS will override any manual date/time settings. You can choose which info to display on recordings: date/time, speed (mpr or kph) and gps coordinates. You'll need their software to view the video with a GPS map like in the product images. The app can be tricky if you use wireless Android Auto or Carplay since the device attempts to connect to your phones wifi, but your car will take priority and stop the dashcam from connecting to your phone. Forget the app, you can easily change settings on the device. Just pull the SD card and use a pc to view and copy video files. ... show more

It's not the most amazing dashcam I've seen, but for the price it does everything I need. So far no issues whatsoever! I would highly suggest doing your research and getting a solid SD card, as you don't want that failing when you need it most. The install took me about an hour with some minor hiccups. My son recommended this dash cam when I asked him for a recommendation. He was very happy with its performance and features. I must agree with him. I believe this full featured camera, with the rear camera, is one of the best for the price. I installed a 256GB microSD card to enable the loop recording. Installation was no problem.
