Features

  • Heavy Duty & High Compatibility: Supports to carry 2 bikes, maximum load capacity is 200lbs and 100lbs for each. Fits any vehicle with a 2 inches receiver and accommodates bike tire sizes from 2.5 inches to 5 inches wide. The adjustable slider effortlessly adapts to wheelbases up to 50 inches, ensuring a secure fit every time. Features anti-loosening bolts with thread sealant, suitable for most standard bikes and heavy-duty electric bikes.
  • Easy Installation & User-Friendly: This bike rack comes with all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for a quick setup. Loading and unloading your bike is effortless with the customized ramp. The rack is foldable, making it easy to store and transport. For added convenience, a digital copy of user manual can be downloaded from this webpage, ensuring you have access to installation details and important guidelines beforehand.
  • Enhanced Anti-Wobbling Design: Incorporated the latest patented wheel cradle design, it provides a deeper and more stable wrapping for the front wheel compared to other brands or previous models. Coupled with the middle rod tightened to 50Nm torque, this virtually eliminates most vertical movement of the bike. It ensures secure performance on various terrains, making it perfect for off-road environments.
  • Improved Anti-Scratch Design: To prevent any scratches or paint damage to the bike, we add soft padding in areas between the rack and bike. The rack also features a solid metal receiver arm and a scratch-resistant strap, securely holding your bike and preventing any damage during use. This makes it particularly suitable for expensive or heavy bikes.

  • Well built but very heavy bike hitch rack
Style: 2-Bike Rack (with Ramp & Lock)
I have two Kingbull ebikes. One is a Discover and the other is a Rover. Each weighs about 75 lbs with the battery. About 67 without the battery. The wheelbase of both is 48 inches. The rack weighs about as much as one of my ebikes so it is sturdy and well built, but heavy to lift. Both bikes fit on the rack perfectly and so far have staid secure with no issues. The rack was very easy to assemble and all parts came as expected and it fits very tight in my hitch receiver with no wobble or noise. I especially like the included ramp to load my heavy ebikes. Even though the bikes are very heavy it was easy for me to roll the bikes up the ramp and into position to secure them. The two upright securing devices will secure any bike since the upright posts and the securing clamps can be adjusted to fit any bike. I am 79 years old and assembled the rack in less than an hour and loaded both bikes by myself without any help. So far all is well with the rack and I would buy it again. The Mate R rack is rated to hold up to 100 lbs. in each tray, so 200 lbs. total. I hope this post is helpful especially for those with heavy ebikes. ... show more

  • Works Great for my fat tire eBikes
Style: 2-Bike Rack (with Ramp & Lock)
I have two large and heavy eBikes with 4" tires. It was tough to find a rack at a reasonable price point, that was rugged and reliable to transport my bikes. Well this rack meets those requirements. It is rugged and slides into my two inch receiver. It is a bit heavy and a two person job to slide into the receiver. The hitch pin is screw in type. Make sure you have a socket or wrench that fits the head. I believe 3/4 inch. But once installed very sturdy. Holds my bikes firmly with multiple ratchet tie downs. There is very little bounce. And the whole set up is secure and gives me confidence that the expensive bikes are safe. I have used this rack on multiple 800 mi trips with no issues. Couple of cons. I have seen evidence of rust around some welds. Not functional issues more cosmetic. Make sure the ratchet straps are inserted correctly or they will not hold. Also the pin holding the fold up joint did not align correctly, and I had to drill a better hole to slide the pin into. One last positive comment, many racks will not secure step through frames without a cross bar adapter. This design secures to seat posts so cross members are not an issue. Overall very pleased. ... show more

  • Upright Support Bar - Strapping
Style: SOLE R (with Ramp)
Overall I believe that the bike rack was well made and respectable as compared to more expensive bike racks. Assembly instructions I felt were easy to follow and limited assembly was pretty easy as well. I had one issue with the upright support bar. They tell you to tighten until tight and bar dosen't move. This didn't happen and the support bar moved up & down like a loose tooth. To remedy this and have the support bar move with some resistance I placed additional spacers/shims behind the two plastic spacers that they give you. Lastly I felt that they could have provided better straps. The ones for the bar on the bike and rear tire worked pretty good but the strap for the front tire didn't work so well. For about 10$ and a piece of mind I purchased some utility/tie down strapping to ensure the bike stayed in place on the rack. ... show more

  • Impressed with bike rack - cheaper than Aventon option at bike shop
Style: 2-Bike Rack (with Ramp & Lock)
Very impressed with quality. It's heavy tho and when attached to hitch not easy to release but would make more difficult to steal the rack. When we bought, it did not include the key lock option but apparently now that is an included feature. Bikes feel secure and ramp makes e bike loading easier than trying to lift those beasts! ... show more

  • Well made, sturdy
Style: 2-Bike Rack (with Ramp & Lock)
We are very pleased with this bike rack. It is well made, not too bad to assemble. My husband is very meticulous and he was pleased. The ramp works well for loading the bikes. We have 2 Aventon Sinch e-bikes and they went on very well. There is no wobbling when we drive. We have it on the back of our Winnebago Travato. We would recommend this to other e-bike owners. It is heavy but to carry e-bikes well that is to be expected. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Style: SOLE R (with Ramp)
This is a great bike rack and easy to assemble. I'm missing the lock nut for the intermediate support bar. Contacted the seller and they responded.

  • Heavy but Sturdy
Style: 2-Bike Rack (with Ramp & Lock)
It arrived missing some of the bolts. The seller was very responsive and sent the bolts when 2 days. I have used it twice so far. It is sturdy but heavy. The ramp works well. I would recommend this carrier UPDATE I used the carrier with 2 e-bikes on a 12 hour round trip. The bikes weigh approximately 200 pounds together. I had no problems with it. I did strap the vertical bars to the pickup bed cargo hooks to relieve stress of acceleration. I hit speed bumps and railroad tracks. This carrier held up like a champ. I would definitely recommend this carrier. The customer support is excellent. ... show more

  • Potentially fatal flaw
Style: SOLE R (with Ramp)
This is an excellent bike rack for the price. Holds my 83 pound bike very securely on a Yakima swing arm. I really like that it is light enough that I can take it on and off. Because it doesn't fold up and it sticks out really far since it is mounted on my swing arm. The only minor thing is there is already rust on one important weld. I ground off the rust and sprayed it with rustoleum. Update after 2 months constant use. I've just returned from a long trip. The bike rack held up well with one major problem. The screw for the rear wheel strap came loose and the rear wheel came off of the rack at freeway speeds. I don't know how long it was just hanging there with one wheel hooked on at 70 mph. The problem is the screw comes loose when you move the strap around. I tightened it once as it was almost about to fall off but it came loose again. I tried to put my own screw in there with loctite but it wouldn't stay on that way either. So I ordered a new screw for $15 from the manufacturer. In the future I will carry an allen wrench that fits that screw and try to remember to tighten it before I use it. ... show more
