Our whole family, from ages 4 to 62, all use and enjoy this board. Our family and now friends have bought several, though not all the same brand. So what I will tell you about this brand is: It is well priced. There is quite a range of prices and this one was very reasonable so I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. Now that I've seen and used it, I would say it is very good quality. The board is a very good thickness, heavy weight, not flimsy. The stopper rails on the bottom are easy to move. You can adjust them by hand and don't need a screw driver. The roller is padded so provides some resistance. There is a quality anti slip surface on the top. One think I would recommend is starting on a longer pile carpet before going to a low pile or flat floor surface. The longer pile provides some resistance to the roller moving and it is easier to learn that way. I recommend this balance board.

I have grown up using a balance board as studies have shown doing tasks on one can help with balance, focus, and also better memory retention. As a teacher, I bought one for my classroom and students absolutely love it. They are playing on it every chance they get, which is awesome because they are older grades (7,8, and 9th graders). I highly recommend this one! I am looking to replace the roller as it has received a lot use, but can’t seem to find Youki Sports’ balance board roller that individually sold. That would be my only criticism.

The media could not be loaded. I have 2 kids in sports: one in basketball and one in swim. Both of their coaches have told them they need to strengthen their core so I got this because it seemed like a fun way to get some core work in without it feeling like a chore. They both use it all the time without really thinking about it. I have it in our living room where the tv is and they will randomly get on it while walking through the room or watching tv. I don't have to tell them, they just hop on and off throughout the day. It's almost like a fidget toy to them. Note: it does come with 2 bumpers that help you adjust as you learn how to balance. They limit the range of motion of the board on the roller piece. There are 2 levels of bumper help before you have the full width of the board to work with. Eventually you will get to the point where you don't need the bumper. It took my kids about a week to fully remove them.

Got this for my son, as a fun way for him to strengthen his core and sense of balance in preparation for sports. It's very easy to put together - unpack the box, screw in the stoppers (if you want them), and put the board on the roller. Takes maybe 2 minutes and off you go. The board is thick and strong, and the non-slip surface is great. No worries about it breaking. The roller is strong - no worries there. Everyone has been sitting around for a while due to COVID. As we resume our lives, I suspect we realize that we need to get into better shape, particularly with our core. This is a great, and fun, way to strengthen the core without thinking "oh man, I've got to work out." It's hard to argue with this. One thing - this doesn't come with a manual or various exercises. The answer, of course, is to look them up on Youtube, where there are plenty. recommended.
