This thing is legit for casual fisherman, my only regret is that I didn’t go the next size larger. Transducer performs well and easily picks up targets. No grainy BS. This is a very good transducer, but beware it is susceptible to interference from non-brushless trolling motors. Our MK Terrova will cause interference on the plotter/fish finder when running at times. We've tried moving the grounds and power cables to the TM which gave some improvements, but there's still some interference when using the FF with the TM running. ... show more

I put this fish finder on my kayak and i love it. The images are awesome. Traditional view is great to find where they are at, down view is incredible clear, you can see trees and anything under you. Side view is also awesome and clear. Easy to use and there’s many educational videos on YouTube.
