I was initially disappointed with this because I could not see any indication that it came with bluetooth as they had promised on the Amazon product page. While it is an good rower without it, that was one of the reasons I purchased it so I felt cheated. Then I discovered I had overlooked a sheet of paper in the packing box that gave the instructions for connecting to bluetooth if using the Kinomap app. Worked easily - I don't know how you turn bluetooth on but I always press the mode button and move the arm straps in case that is what activates it. The other wonderful thing about this is that you can use it with the Holofit app if you have an Oculus/Meta Quest VR headset. It recognizes it as a bluetooth rower so you don't have to use the headset tracking mode. I have been using this for over a month with zero problems and I am getting healthier by the day. This is an excellent value - the least expensive bluetooth model I could find that had decent reviews. And it is super easy to assemble because they label everything. (It does take some time though.) It makes very little noise, and you can fold it up to store it, but it is heavy so I don't bother moving it. Get a seat cushion for it though - it is not all that comfortable without it. ... show more

I have never been on a rower except for using a Concept 2. So when I first got this rower, I was initially not too impressed. Trying to compare a concept 2 to this rower is not a fair comparison. But the more I used it, the more I enjoy it. It’s quiet, comfortable and with the wheels on the front is easily moveable. The tension bar does give you from 0 to 17 different resistance so plenty of variations. There is an app you can download, around $8.00 a month on your phone and once you sync it to your tower, very easy, it keeps track of your calories, distance but it has hundreds of rowing competitions that you can participate in, lots of “how to row correctly “ videos. UPDATE - Customer service is fantastic. First off I am biased. I use gym rowers. I wanted an affordable rower for my home gym and really did not want to spend over 500 bucks. That is even on the high side. I read reviews of this rower and watched a few youtube videos and everyone was giving this pretty high praise. With the sale price I decided to jump on it. Positives: - Super easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes. Instructions were great. - Super quiet. The belt drive is extremely quiet so this can be used anywhere. - Easy to store. Not heavy at all. Wheels make it great to move around. - Connecting to the App was easy. - Overall build quality seems great. Negatives: - I am 5ft 9inches and this rower seems too small for me. On the catch I stay very upright, not able to lean forward and hinge. The drive and finish are fine but it is the catch and recovery that the foot rest seem too far forward on the machine. I am thinking of modifying the foot rest with a yoga block or so to put me back a little. Other than that this seems like a decent buy for 200. ... show more

I really like this machine! Assembly of this machine took a little effort. It wasn't difficult but the written instructions weren't necessarily easy to understand so I definitely watched the video. Also I couldn't find the video link anywhere so I just youtubed it. I also had a very small issue with 2 washers being labeled as one size, but not fitting the bolts they were for. It worked out, I just swapped them with other washers but it was a small QA thing that was a little annoying. Overall it came together in probably 20-25 min by myself. It feels fairly sturdy and well put together. I am by no means a rower professional. I was looking for something quiet that I could put in my living room and just do short burst workouts while I watch TV whenever I get the urge. This has really been fitting the bill for me! I'm 5'7, around 230 lbs and I have no problems fitting on it or getting a full range of motion. My husband is about 6' and also gets a full range of motion. I like that the feet have a little bit of motion to them so you can really get a full leg extension. The seat moves very smoothly and really makes it feel like you're on a boat or something. It is also incredibly quiet. It has some noise from just having a wheel turning but you can easily hear the TV over it. You could absolutely do this exercise while people are sleeping. I also feel like it has a good amount of tension! I have it on the lowest setting so I can do it longer while watching TV, but the highest setting would definitely tire me out quickly. It is a very full body workout! The first time I did it for about 30 minutes and the next day was sore all over! You especially feel it in your back and arms if you're not used to it. The additional phone stand is actually quite big too and sturdy so you could easily put a tablet on it to watch shows if you have this in a separate workout area! My biggest complaint with the system is that 1) The handle bars aren't very padded so I could see developing blisters if you do it a lot consecutively and 2) You have to be careful to really keep the bars centered in the middle when you pull or else you might get the chord off track. 3)The seat is not very padded- it's mostly comfortable but does start to get a little sore after a while (kind of like when sitting on bleachers) Overall my three "big" complaints are really pretty small. It requires no power so you can put it wherever, it folds up so you can store it, and is really quite fun for me. I love that you can go as easy or as hard as you want on it. I'm very happy with my purchase and if it gets me moving for 10-30 min a day then that's a win in my book! :) ... show more
