We allow this as she is not only gentle, but our best egg layer (5 eggs/week). We needed a place for her to sleep as she goes to bed at 4:30 pm and we go to bed at 11 pm! I got this cage on Black Friday because it was such a good value! It was somewhat difficult to put together, so I definitely recommend two-person assembly. Once built, you can tell it's of a good quality and solid. I felt the spacing between the bars was too wide. I didn't see that this was only recommend for ADULT RATS, and the rats I have are very young and they slipped right through. My boyfriend ending up having to wrap the whole thing in chicken wire, so keep that in mind. The bars on the roof are closer together, but on the far edges they're about as widely spaced as the cage itself, so we also have to have objects on top to prevent the rats from escaping. I also swapped the positions of the bottom grate and pan because it's safer for rats feet. Otherwise it'd put them at risk for bumble foot and be very uncomfortable. All-in-all I am happy with the purchase! My ratties love all the space they have, and I feel good knowing they're secure and safe. ... show more

Best rabbit home. Spacious, easy to clean and move around. The greatest thing is the slide in tray. We use training pads for lining, so they are easy to change and work perfectly. As far as the building it was pretty easy. The holes don’t really line up at all. After building the top frame and attaching it to the bottom that’s where things went sideways. There are threaded sleeves for the screws to go in, three of the four came loose and I couldn’t get them tight. I can’t unscrew them either. The tray is so warped that I falls out of the grooves. We put our bunny in the cage and his feet immediately started going between the bars and punched out the tray. I’m afraid his leg will get stuck and really hurt himself. I cannot in anyway recommend this cage, keep looking, I know I am. ... show more

Got this cage for my bunny. At first she wasn’t sure how to navigate it, so she just stayed on the bottom floor, but now that she knows her way around, she absolutely loves it. She’s has plenty of room to play, which was exactly what I wanted. Pretty sturdy and durable for the price as well.

This is perfect for my little rabbit. Moving it around the house or out the porch is simple. However, the wheels fall off all the time. There is no screws or anything to hold or snap them into place. The door screws fell out and the door latch doesn't always latch letting the door swing open. It is easy to clean. After thinking I wanted to expand the cage for my rabbit customer service explained that the cages can't be expanded and must purchase the larger cage separately even though the current cage has the mounting holds and access door on the top. ... show more
