Texas rainstorms can be brutal, this gazebo didn't even last through the first one after setting it up. It initially felt sturdy, strong & heavy. One big gust of wind proved that be a non-factor. The legs bent on it after it was blown 4 feet across the yard. We did not put the net on it, for fear of it acting as a kite, but it didn't matter. Immediately ruined.

The gazebo is a good product. It comes with both mesh and solid curtains. Each section of curtain covers half of two sides. They zip together. This causes a problem if you want only three sides covered. Tie backs are provided and work well. Material is about as thick as would be expected. It is light but works well. I did tie it down with stacks and ropes on each corner. The holes in the base are large enough for a camping stake to be used. It is needed as the ones provided do little. The concrete attachments appear to be very adequate. Mine is installed on Florida sand, thus the need for added tie downs.

I was able to put a lot of this together by myself but needed help putting the top on and a little help making the bottom. The instructions could be better. When you are putting B and C together they need to be a certain way because there are holes on one side and not the other. These holes are for the braces you put on later. There is nothing stopping you from facing one up and one down which would cause you to have to tear the whole thing apart. I happened to notice them but almost didn’t. When putting the top onto the bottom base I found it helpful to use a clamp on the part J so I could use both hands to put the bolt in. Also if you face the hole it makes it easier to see the bolt coming through the hole. The fabric that goes on the top is not hooked to the top until after you put the top onto the base. You only want to put the poles thru the hole for the middle poles but make sure the fabric is on the outside of the J part on the middle poles or you will be unfastening and fastening them back like I had to do. Putting this together mostly by myself took about 6 hours but it didn’t feel like that long. It was pretty smooth.

This thing barely made it through one summer. Majority of the stitching came undone due to some small winds. The canopy itself deteriorated after only 3 months. Some of the screw holes were unaligned and poorly tack welded on. Over all a piece of trash. I would post a picture but I’m down to only the frame that I had to reinforce myself. -15 ⭐️

I’m not sure how to say this, but to be overly honest, it is obvious that this was made in Asia and the quality for the amount that I paid is not there. I know assembly instructions were horrible, it usually is, however, they were so horrible that pieces of the installation had to be gassed, which caused other quality issues to be exposed. The very top portion of this gazebo that is supposed to be a vent, the fabric does not match, the dimensions of the hardware. So I’m gonna have to fabricate something. The Velcro was not well stitched and two of them have already broken, I have not had the unit assembled three good hours. I have to stitch that back myself. So why did I give it three stars, this gazebo framework is very sturdy. The fact that the black out curtains or the privacy curtains are actually doing what they said they would do makes it function. If you are one of those people that have to take the top off for the winter. My suggestion is to pick a different unit. This is going to last me the summer, but I think I just wasted 300 bucks because I’m going to have to rip, the top of this to get it back on next summer. Overall, I’m not happy. However, in order for me to get it back in the box. I’m looking at another two hours of disassembly that I’m not willing to do. I will contact the manufacturer to see if some of these things can be corrected, but I definitely will not be holding my breath. If you’re looking at quality Pick another unit. If you’re looking for something just to use for the summer and you don’t care if it doesn’t last an additional year this will suffice. However, there are cheaper pieces out there that will do the exact same thing without the quality frame that I should have gone with. This is what I get for trying to save a couple of bucks, I should’ve gone to , big lots and paid six or 700 bucks instead of the three that I spent here. I can’t say it enough not a happy camper with the quality.
