This is amazing! I never trust the bags and they always seem to leak and the stuff grows back to original size...but not these! The little vacuum that's included in the set is very small and light but mighty. It's not a fast process, but it really works well. In this photo, there is a big wedge pillow (used after surgery), 5 full sized pillows, and a monster winter comforter with shams. There's still room for more stuff on the shelf...AMAZING! Perfect for travel-you will be able to take a lot more or pack in a smaller space. I bought a second set for our RV. If you have BIG stuff, I recommend adding some XXX-large bags. I used these bags to help compress clothes in my luggage. It does save a lot of space in the suitcase. This set comes with a handheld vacuum pump to suck out the air from the bag and works really well. It doesn't change the weight of the clothes, but the volume. Also, the clothing becomes solid/hard so it will not provide any cushioning in the suitcase. Definitely a great way to save of space. I only had to use a couple for my suitcase. Product is great and does as it should, HOWEVER, while sealing a bag the pump shorted out, sparked and started smoking. We will have to replace it. Otherwise, it's a great product, easy to use, bags are nice and thick although the snap seal is a bit of a pain sometimes but it's nice that is double zips/seals at the top.     • AIR SUCTION REDUCTION IS A GREAT WAY TO ADD SPACE TO A SMALL STORAGE AREA

The bags feel like heavy plastic. The extra large closure is big enough to pinch close it is Important to use the clips that are enclosed. Put the clip at the beginning slid to the end and return to the beginning. A microscopic opening can make the air seep into the bag over time. Using the clip guarantees that the bag is closed to retain the air. 2 weeks ago we used the bags to put up 2 quiltsl and a whole bunch of sheet sets. My husband insisted that it was not necessary to use the clips. To prove it he also clicked close a sheet set in a small bag (no clips used). I pulled them out to check them and the quilt had grown and was soft and no wrinkles in the plastic and the sheet set had become very soft. We resealed them using the clips and we will see in another couple of weeks. I really like that with the air sucked out the items get really thin and hard and can be stacked. We were running out of storage space. We also did this to the shower curtains and they are clear so I can see the colors. I feel organized and don't have to look for bits and pieces. ... show more

I recently tried the 24 Pack Vacuum Storage Bags with Electric Pump, and I have mixed feelings about them. On one hand, the bags that worked did a decent job compressing my items, making storage much easier for my Christmas linens and some pillows. I was able to fit three pillows in each jumbo bag without much hassle. However, I was disappointed with the durability of the bags. During the process, one of the jumbo bags ripped with barely any movement, which was frustrating. It’s important for these bags to withstand a little handling, especially when they’re meant to protect contents over time. Overall, while I appreciate the space-saving aspect and the electric pump made the process simpler, the ripping issue was a letdown. I’d rate these bags three stars—useful if you’re careful, but don’t expect them to hold up under rough conditions. ... show more
