Scotch Brite scrub sponges have been strong on the market since forever for a good reason - they're excellent at all around clean-up, especially on dishes and pans. Are they the all singing, all dancing cleaning product of all time? Of course not. Keep your car washing sponge and your Brillo pads. However, for anyone who does a lot of cleaning, it's just not worth it to have 99¢ Store sponges. Obviously, by buying 12 sponges at once you are saving some dough, and buying a dozen helps avoid not having a new sponge at midnight after a dinner party. The package comes with 6 two-packs of sponges. This is actually important, because the plastic packaging of each two-pack insures that your unused sponges aren't drying out and will be ready for use when you need them. But again, they are just sponges - only weirdos like me think about cleaning products this seriously. ... show more

I have been using this brand for many years. This time I can see the yellow sponge is a looser product and they just don't hold up nearly as well. I'm sure they are "cheaper" to make Sigh....

Best cleaning sponge on the market. Long lasting, absorbent, and never gets a sour smell. Love the scrubbing side too. I use one in my kitchen, bathroom and for various odd jobs around the house.
