I currently mow about 4 acres of my property, and was at a point where I needed to upgrade my mower. Having had a wire guided mower on a much smaller property years ago, I decided to check on the state of the technology for autonomous mowers that could handle larger lots and discovered Yarbo. This is a modular unit, and is rated for up to 6 acres per their documentation. The initial set up involves driving the unit with an included controller to establish your boundaries. No more wires! Once you have completed this, you then use the same process to mark no go zones such as flower beds or other permanent obstacles such as septic pipes and the like that might not trigger the device cameras or you otherwise don’t wish to mow. No need to mark out trees, the avoidance for these works perfectly. Once the boundaries are set, you can break it down into areas such as front yard, back yard, etc. From there, you then can set options for each area such as schedules, mowing height, and patterns and then let it do its thing. The charging base is a large sturdy wireless charging station. No dirty contacts to deal with! During the mowing schedule, it will return to the dock as needed to top up the battery, and then continue the job. If you’ve never had a robotic mower, these devices use small razor blades on discs to mow. While it sounds a bit underwhelming, what this means is no more piles of grass trimmings, they are mulched up and dropped back into the lawn because the grass is being trimmed more precisely. The blades are inexpensive and easy to replace, much easier than dealing with riding mower blade sharpening. They do not mow as quickly as your lawn tractor or zero turn. You will run it more frequently, but the advantage is that your lawn will always be well trimmed. I ran my Yarbo on each area twice a week for the first two weeks to get everything nice and trimmed. There are a few options for this mower. I have the standard mower deck with razor cutters, as I was familiar and comfortable with this style. Yarbo does offer a pro model with more traditional blades if you have tougher grass to mow or would rather have that style blade. If you live in a snowy climate, the snow blower option may be a value add for you as well. You can even pull a cart with this thing! Yep, it comes with a hitch for yard attachments such as carts and rollers. I haven’t used this feature much, but you can load a cart and then give it a waypoint to drive to for example if you are picking up branches from the yard and then direct it to your burn pile and it will autonomously drive to a waypoint you specify. I attached a pic of my wife and grandson taking a little ride from the robot. :-) So far - very pleased with my purchase. It’s not cheap, but if you compare it to a consumer lawn tractor or zero turn cost and factor in its potential for more attachments, the price is right in line. The unit is stout, around 200lbs. The chassis is metal and sturdy. The stripes in the lawn are an added bonus. Robotically perfect, and you can set them to change direction and rotation each mowing session. Summary: I am very pleased so far. Quality of the cut is great. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. My only negative is that I’ve had to find other time to catch up on my podcasts, now that I don’t have to drive the lawn mower around for 3 hours a week.

Unit works. App that is used isn’t very intuitive and overall product support is terrible with a team that doesn’t actually listen to you. So the back and forth is extremely frustrating. It’s 2026 and the folks who purchase something like this is going to be pretty tech savvy too but it’s clear they don’t care and will delay getting the unit back in operation because they’ve got a script. So beware, support is terrible and any product is only as good as its support.

Very happy customer. My yard is difficult. 2 acres of Hills, ponds, mud, 12 fruit trees. This is a tough tool. It has really impressed me. Don't run it in areas were vehicles park. Don't expect the maintenance blades on the mower to do bush wacking. I bought a refurbished unit. It shipped with the core but not the data center. It was 2 day shiped to me. No issues with anything else. Yarbo Customer support gets a beating in social media. I work in software an do customer support. Yarbo support is truly excellent. Let the poeple on social media get their clicks. But don't worry about assistance.

If you like Tech this is fun. All though the learning curve is huge. The tech support has been fantastic. We have 5 acres up in the mountains with alot of stumps. The no go zones are very helpful, all though I wasn't paying attention and the Rover decided to try to jump some roots. The app gave me a heads up and I reversed it and we went on our way. I am tempted to purchase the controller because I am a gamer at heart, what better way to get work done and get the feeling you are gaming. I encourage anyone to try purchase this product if you want to make like easier, that is after the set up.

Very poor instructions- solution - you produce a video of the problem and send it to them to be reviewed - very slow process and puts a lot of tech work on the owner. Simple things are hard to figure out until you do

I bought my Yarbo package directly from Yarbo, before they were available on Amazon. I have been a customer of theirs for about 2 years, and I have a lot of experience with their Snowblower and Lawn Mower modules, and some experience with the Leaf Blower and Smart Assist Module. Compare the Yarbo to a robot vacuum (conceptually)- both are best used frequently for “maintenance/upkeep”, and being robots can run anytime, and may run longer to get the job done. The Yarbo is not intended to be a “brush hog” mowing a field (or clearing 20” of snow), as a robot vacuum may not be ideal for cleaning up after a big family gathering! Used appropriately however the Yarbo is amazing, and frees up so much of my time. The snow blower did great for me over the last 2 seasons- there are the typical limitations you have with any blower- wet/heavy snow may plug it up in the warm beginning of the season, etc. The Snow Blower tracks have a more aggressive tread pattern, and come with (removable) studs installed. I may remove them for this winter as there are some scratches on my smooth asphalt driveway. All that being said, it did a GREAT job keeping my 4,500 sq ft driveway cleared! It can run on a schedule, or based upon weather service predictions of snow accumulation, or when I say “go”. Being electric powered it is best to clear every 2-3 inches, easily scheduled. I have however cleared 10-12”, this just drains the battery faster. The Lawn Mower module is running great- watching it mow my 200’ x 180’ backyard section right now, which is all on a decent hill. There are smooth tracks you use for lawn work, it is reasonably easy to swap the tracks- all necessary tools are included with Yarbo, they do a great job at providing EVERYTHING you need. I am mowing 1.5 acres (mowable area) twice a week easily- during daylight hours. The Yarbo can of course operate anytime, including in the middle of the night. I run it during the day as I have fun watching it. The main Yarbo body (the “Core”) has a huge battery, and 2 powerful motors. The modules are easy enough to swap once you get used to doing so- but they can be heavy- be ready to ask a teen for help if you can’t handle 45-65 pounds! Yarbo has come a LONG WAY in the time I have been a customer. There have been some problems, but they stand behind their hardware and advance-ship a replacement if ever needed, and you reuse the box to return the old. They now offer an extended warranty as well, which is worth it. Their software development (both Android and iOS) has been amazing- new features and abilities added at an astonishing rate, many of them ideas that came from the customers. I love that I can monitor or start/stop my Yarbo when away from home, including use the cameras to “see”. The Work-Areas are easily Mapped via driving the Yarbo around the perimeter, then adding any “No-Go” Zones. You can adjust all kinds of options to get the Blowing\Mowing setup as you desire. Everything you need is included- The Core and battery, selected Modules, a private HaLow wifi network, Cell coverage, wired and wireless chargers, a physical controller (for manual operation), tools, and some spare parts. I love my Yarbo.
