  • Great bike rack
Size: 1.25" Color: Anthracite
We love this rack! It was easy to assemble, sturdy and so easy to load the bikes on. It's a little heavy, but not going to remove stars for that.

  • 100% recommend
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
Quality rack, using with 2 e-bikes without issue. Had a small issue with assembly but the seller was extremely helpful. It is heavy, but I would be concerned if it wasn't.There are cheaper options, but not worth risking bikes/safety on the road to save a few dollars in my opinion....

  • Solid. Easy to assemble and to use. Worked fine

Solid. Easy to assemble and to use. Worked fine for a week's drive around the state with two bikes, one an e-bike, including on a couple gravel roads for a bit.

  • Difficult to assemble.
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
It’s a good bike rack, but a couple of questionable quality issues. It takes 8 bolts to attach the 2 carry trays and not 1 of them aligned with the treaded holes. Finally after messing with it, I got 7 tight and 1 forced. Also, the locking device including the pin that goes into the receiver is difficult to use. The key,in particular, is unturnable on occasion. That said, the bike rack seems very sturdy and holds both bikes very well. ... show more

  • Very sturdy rack, well built, works great but heavy
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
This rack is VERY robust. I might go as far as to say too robust in the sense that it's quite heavy and challenging to maneuver and store when not in use. It is however very well built and did great hauling two full sized mountain bikes on several trips. The only negative is that I can offer is that my 2025 Honda CRV's rear proximity sensor has to be manually turned off otherwise it engages the auto braking when reversing with the rack in the upright (stored) position. This is easy to do though. ... show more

  • Good quality rack, if you are able to put together.
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
Once its together, its a good/decent product. But mine had a defect in the handle and Jimmie Christmas was this thing difficult to put together. 1) The plastic handle at the end of the rack that you pull to raise and lower the rack was cracked when the rack arrived. 2) There are 8 bolts that secure the bars that hold the bikes to the bar that pivots up and down. Those bolts are incredibly prone to cross-threading. If you are not holding the bolt perfectly perpendicular to the bolt hole, even if your off by only 5 degrees or so, it cross threads rather than working into the proper groves like a normal bolt. But since the bar does not rest perfectly flat before being bolted in place, I had to have a second person come over and twist the bar as I get each bolt started in its hole. By the time I had made several attempts, diagnosed the issue, and got a second person to start assisting, it took me an hour to get the 8 bolts done. I'm an extremely handy person, I can fix just about anything and have plenty of experience with bolts and screws. But these are some of the worst, poorest quality bolts that I have ever seen in my life. (The bolts are a bit tapered and tip, which I'm guessing is the issue, but it could be the nuts, I couldn't examine them closely because they are welded inside the bar.) 3) There is a thin coat of plastic like veneer on the parts. When I tightened one of the aforementioned bolts, the bolt griped into the veneer taking out a decent chunk of the paint job around the bolt. ... show more

  • Must have for cross country trips!
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
Great quality! Waited long enough before it went on sale, but definitely worth the wait. Has held up really well on a trip from Chicago to Vegas and back with few stops at Zion and Bryce Canyon

  • Probably my last Yakima product
Size: 2" Color: Anthracite
Rack is beefy, and works well. For the price I have pretty high expectations though. The bolts are really easy to cross thread when putting it together. Three holes need to line up, and there is a lot of play between the connection pieces. It is also very heavy. The finish is also very easy to scratch off. Low rating is mostly due to their terrible customer service. I needed some parts when a drunk driver hit it. It's impossible to get a reply via email, or to talk to someone. If you can get it for 500$ or less it might be worth it, certainly not full retail. Otherwise buy a 1up. ... show more
