Features

  • EXTRA LARGE EXERCISE PLACE: 25.2 x 17.2 x 51.7 large pet cage with 2.2cm/0.9 bar spacing allows several small animals to have fun at the same time; six tiers are connected with ramps, which expand the usable area for pets to climb and rest; perfect for small pets like guinea pigs, squirrels, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, rats, hedgehogs, etc.
  • Durable & Sturdy: This cage is constructed of powder coated metal square tubes and wires; safe hammertone paint gives this stylish cage excellent wear resistance; features 4 heavy-duty casters at the bottom ensure high load capacity
  • SAFE & SECURE: All three arched doors are secured with latches, keeping your pets safe in the cage when you are not around; arc designed ramp with embossed stripes for safety purpose, which can increase the friction and prevent your pets from slipping during their climbing; smooth seams and rounded corners protect your pets and yourself from undesired injury
  • EASY CLEANING: 3-Door design makes it easy to clean the cage and tiers with tools; a slide-out tray under the cage can be removed and cleaned with water; a metal grate between pets and the tray can avoid your pets walking/laying directly on their droppings

  • So good
Color: Hammertone Black
I have now purchased 2 of these. They are a great size. Lightweight enough to move around and clean.

If this is your question, I have an answer. This cage was bought for three female rats and it arrived on December 29th, 2017. The instructions are a bit ambiguous and it may require a bit of you just improvising, but once you get a grip it's pretty easy. My chinchilla wheel fit just right, but the handle for the water bottle was broken. It was a bit rusty, which set me off a bit... but it's much better than other cages we've had. The plastic tray on the bottom is NOT enough for the rats on its own, but I'm going to apply some fleece at the bottom. The rats really enjoy it, and its pretty easy to move around. We were thinking of adding some chicken wire, but as you can see they're okay for now. The bottle is not enough in my opinion, but the dish is fabulous for food. They have been running around and playing all day. For the money, it was a great buy. And as far as cages go, it gave my ratties a lot of space many cages do not have. I'd recommend this cage for rat owners whose rats are at their full size, any smaller would be a bad idea. As someone with other small animals, I can say off the bat that this wouldn't work for guinea pigs, hamsters (even with chicken wire), mice, small squirrels, small sugar gliders, or any reptiles. This is also not suitable for birds, since the bar spacing is wider than most bird cages should be (snapped necks could be an issue), and the space for them to climb is limited. Unless you chicken wire it, this is absolutely not suitable for any bird... and even with wire cage, don't home anything larger than a budgie/small parakeet due to the beak strength if you do chose to wire it up. I have worked for a pet store, and I have my own critters, so I'm quite familiar with animal enclosures. ... show more

  • Rats need a large cage and this one is great and inexpensive
Color: Hammertone Black
This cage is perfect for my two pet rats. It's not that much more money than a tiny cage but it improved my rat babies life exponentially. The bottom is made with bars that I was worried about for my smallest rat so I put a piece of food grade bpa free shelf liner across the bottom and periodically flip it over/ replace it when it gets dirty. My bigger rats actually stayed in it during a vacation and it didn't need the shelf liner, I just put a bunch of blankets to make it more comfortable. It is important to keep it clean with spot cleaning because you don't want you pet running through their messes but it's super easy to have a few baby wipes on hand to get the little droppings. It is perfect for my two rats but 3 can fit just fine. If they like burrowing in bedding, you can put a little box of bedding in it on the bottom floor but there is no tray for bedding. I've put it together and pulled it apart multiple times and it's still in good shape. ... show more

  • Very good cage for the price!!
Color: Hammertone Black
We bought this for our 2 squirrels. My 15 year old son and I assembled it (since my husband was at work) and it was super easy!!! The wheels were hard to push in, but otherwise everything else was easy! There was a bar broken but the box was damaged so I'm assuming it was smashed in shipping 🥺 we took some wire and wired it up. The tray slides out easy, the cage itself is sturdy enough, I didn't use the drinking bottle it came with because I had already bought a good one but it's nice to have as a spare. Very happy with it so far! Hoping it works well for years to come. Would definitely recommend for squirrels! Also, our squirrels are about 11 weeks old 😉 so they aren't really big and the spacing between bars is perfect for small critters! ... show more

  • Great for price, but you get what you pay for
PROS: I bought this cage because of size and price. I will say it came with all the pieces, it looks exactly like the picture and I am happy I purchased it. CONS: Insutructions have no words just pictutres, however, if you have ever put together a dog cage, you can figure this out. It is not hard. There were scuffs/scratches on the corners of the cage, and came covered in a brown dust. A little annoying, but i wiped it off and honestly, its an animal cage. They are going to poop and pee in it, I wasn't really worried about the scratches. The biggest con I would say is that the bars are not all soldered that well. Two of the thinner long bars came detached at the lower soldering point. I taped it so it wasn't pokey, and moved along. If getting for something like rats, as I did you may want to put sip ties that connect the faces of the cage to the top at the corners, the gap is big enough that if your rats wanted to escape they could. ... show more

  • Nice cage
Color: Hammertone Black
Ut is easy to out together but ine if the holes was nit bug enough for the screw to go into it so we had to make some adjustments. It's a nice cage and our ferret seems to like it.

  • Updated 2019 - not for ferrets
Update April 2019: We upgraded the ferret's cage to a large dog crate on a stand we made. He's a lot happier now. For an adult ferret this cage is too thin for it's height and the platforms are way too small. This cage now houses 3 male rats and is working out good for them! ***Our teen son uses this for his new ferret. Sadly the ferret slides down the ramps and cannot walk down or up them! I wish they had better traction!! We will have to DIY a solution. One less star just for that. The front and back panel bars are vertical, the two side panel bars are horizontal. He can climb up the sides, but then just falls down. I do wish the horizontal bars were on all sides, or at least also on the back so the critter could get to another level by climbing. All in all, the cage does its job of housing the ferret (baby) and for a cheaper price than other cages we looked at. ... show more
