The media could not be loaded. We got this pool filter and upgraded from a much smaller filter. So far it's been well worth the money. I have cut the hours that I run the filter by more than half and the pool is cleaner than ever. Installation was pretty easy, once we figured out how to angle the pipes. It took some creative thinking due to the space we had to work in but my husband got the install done in a few hours. I haven't had to clean the filters yet and we've had it over a month. Was missing two parts that were in the numbered diagram, but not on the parts list. Contacted seller via email and had the parts to us within a week. Works better than our previous sand filter and more cost effective than the brand at pinchaoenny.

DO NOT BUY FROM IHub - IDeals My Xtreme Pool Filter arrived from Fedex in a damaged box with parts sticking out on 4-18 (See Pictures). I was confident it would go back to Amazon with no problems once I returned it online. WRONG!! They are a 3rd party seller and Amazon A-Z Guarantee backs you up, but the seller must refund your money/pay for return shipping, NOT Amazon. IHub/IDeals would not pay for return shipping even though the box was damaged. This company doesn't even answer the phone! I didn't get my refund from the seller until June 19 even though they received the filter to thir warehouse on May 10th. (60 day wait) after spending hours on the phone with Amazon CS and 15 emails with documentation. My last call on June 19th I connected with the right person at Amazon CS management who actually got my money back. I had been out 0ver 1100.00 for this disaster. Xtreme pool fifter 791.00, 37.00 for tape/shipping box/320.70 fedex shipping (Amazon did reinburse me for my costs). I will NEVER again buy an expensive item from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Be aware you are taking a RISk if there's a problem or damage. Finding the right person in escaltion at A-Z is key. Keep trying daily untill you get someone who knows how to help. The right guy got my money back in 2 days after 60 days of my efforts. Or just don't buy from 3rd party sellers like IHub/IDeals. What if you were the guy who got this knocked up filter I received after repackaging - if there's a problem, you are out of luck. ... show more

Install was easy. Lables on unit for inlet and outlet are correct but incorrect in manual. Liked the price and performance of the filter for a product made in China. Customer service is poor.
