straight out of the box, the pump did not work. customer support told me to check the fuse and battery. the fuse was blown. why ship your product with a blown fuse?!?!?!?!? i tried six places before i found the right fuse. it is working well now... but really?!?!? why send something that you know isn't working. so, to follow up further. it took a couple days to get the original one working. in the meantime they sent me a replacement for the original at no charge. it works. the whole pump and filter combo is perfect for my application. 1000 gallon stock tank used as a pool.

The pump that came with our larger pool just wasn’t keeping up, so we upgraded to the 13” XtremepowerUS sand pump and couldn’t be happier. It circulates the water much better, keeps the pool cleaner, and runs efficiently. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid. If your pool’s original pump isn’t doing the job, this is definitely a worthwhile upgrade! 💦🏊♀️

This product was easy to set up and worked seemingly well for a while. Though even with a vacuum pulling the junk at the bottom of the pool through, the filter seemed to not do a whole lot. Junk was still being shot back into the pool after going through the filter. Also, we’ve had it for less than a year, and the pump stopped working the other day. Somehow got a short somewhere, so now it won’t power on without burning the internal fuse (confirmed, not power, breaker, wiring, etc. issue, but short within the pump). Contacted customer support, but they won’t do anything about it. I’m sure ours is just a fluke, but it’s very discouraging to have to buy another pump after such a short time.

Excellent water pomp filter! I had the original one that my above ground pool brings and it wasn’t doing the job the way it should. After installing this one, I noticed the difference within approximately 2 hours. I wish I would’ve purchased it sooner. Definitely 5 stars! Totally recommended. The instructions on the manual are not great at all. However, there is an excellent video of how to assemble it on youtube that explains step by step on how you assemble it your self. The cord isn’t long enough so I had to purchase an 25ft outdoor extension cord with the correct power requirements at HomeDepot. For that I had to search on google the following: “can an extension cord be plugged in anxtremepowerus 13 maximum” and after typing that in, all the information on purchasing the correct extension cord came out. Also I purchased an additional protection for the water pump & the extension cord when connected together, although it says is for outdoor. The item is a small box that’s called “ Twist and seal cord protection” also at homedepot fot $5.95. Overall this has been a great purchase. Don’t forget to watch the youtube video if you want to assemble it correctly like i did.

Pump works great. Does have a flaw where the circuit board comes in over tightened and the plastic is broke. I reached out to them about the pump seizing and they sent us a brand new one.
