This pump broke within the first two weeks. I believe it was just a faulty one. As soon as I dropped it off at a UPS within that day I already got a note back saying I would be refunded and I was. I just ordered another one. This time I got the Insurance on it. When it worked it had a lot of power. I love the extra features it has that others don’t. I was skeptical at first because so many people say you have to go with a sand filter but we just weren't in the spot to invest into one at the time. This filter has worked great and it came with the hoses to hook it up. The hoses and connectors alone make this product worth buying since they are so expensive to buy separately. The only negatives were I do not like that you can't shut off the water flow with what it comes with to change out the filter and I have had a hard time getting it to work with a pool vacuum. ... show more

This is a great pump! I'm a fan of Intex products in general, but this one for sure. Very easy to set up, clear instructions, and had a couple extra clamps. It is very quiet! Can't even hear it unless I'm standing over it. I also believe the GPH rating. This pump moves water really well!
