I've had the Honeycomb Extension Panel for just about a month now. It has far exceeded my expectations. I have it sitting on the 4" high frame that I built originally for my 2 honeycomb panels I had purchased to fit my extension kit. The new extension panel is fantastic and resolves every single issue I had concerning the 2 honeycomb panels I was using before. No more leveling issues because of the banding around each panel. I often do 20 -30" signs/panels, etc. and I'd get burn back when the banding would lay under the piece I was cutting on. Also I no longer have to insert shims to make sure everything was level. The Honeycomb extension panel is as sturdy as I could hope for and the 4 magnetic clips are a godsend. They are thinner so the laser head can pass right over them. The previous ones I had kept getting hit by the laser head causing the piece to shift out of alignment. This solves that issue for good. Great work XTOOL. Keep it up.

I got the xtool extension a few months ago and love it but I had been using two regular square honey combs and having to go back and cut some of the places that sat over the metal. I also was having to add some shims under neath to raise it up for better ventilation. I have used the extension honey comb for two days and I absolutely love it. I also do not need my shims because it has feet to raise it off the metal and also has corner protectors to prevent and scraps or cuts. I was excited to used the clips to hold the material down,sometimes the air assist wants to move the lighter things around. The clips are magnetic and slip right in place. I am really pleased with xtool and will be looking into more of their products.
