I was hesitant about purchasing the F2 due to the price and the fact that I already have two lasers and one being portable. But when I saw a discount of around $300 I decided to go ahead and buy one. I am thrilled with this machine, it far exceeds my expectations, is superior to my Longer Nano Pro and more versatile. The only knock I can give it and the Longer has the same issue is that it doesn’t work with the newest version of the Microsoft Surface Pro. I believe this is duty the arm based processor and a compatibility issue with a required driver. Fortunately I have another laptop that is 100% compatible. Ease of use is amazing, the Xtool software is great and very user friendly.

Overall I am extremely impressed with this, and it's fairly easy to get started with. The software makes it easy to engrave on pretty much everything once you get it setup and figured out. I will say if you plan on engraving on tumblers, spend the extra money and get the rotation tool. I purchased it without, and it does an okay job, but it would be a lot faster and look a lot better if I had the tool. As far as quality, I have never owned another laser so I cannot compare to others, but this is more than capabale of producing quality engarvings on multiple surface types and still produces great detail even on smaller surfaces / images.

A good compact tool to get into engraving. Learning curve for engraving is a bit steep if you are new to engraving but it’s not the tools fault. The more you practice the better you will get. The fact that you can engrave multiple material is awesome. I will not recommend it for cutting as the cuts on the sides are slanting due to laser head static in the centre that might improve a bit with the conveyor belt. Overall good value for money.

Super cool machine. You are able to do so many things with it and work on so many materials; except clear acrylic. Also remember that you project can only be small because of the size of the machine.
