Perfect out of the box. Packaging is very nice and concise the system walks you though full set up and the e first couple of jobs and alignments a much better step up then older lasers and the price point is well worth the money

This is quality and we'll made tool, suitable for beginners and intermittent users. It easy to assemble an use. It can easy engraving b/w images with most of formats! The best materials are basswood and birchwood plywood 1/8 and 1/4 ". There are lot of ready to use projects in provided xTOOL STUDIO!

Another sleek and beautiful machine by Xtool. I still need to run a few tests, but the packaging was good and it arrived in one piece and seems to be working. Coming from the another one of their lasers, the Xtool studio remains very intuitive and easy to use. The M2s dual camera makes positioning super easy and has a workaround in mind for pueces that cover the registration marks. I also love the size of it, unlike many entry level lasers, it's capable of a3 engraving and has some bleeding area on the sides for larger items. It doesn't come without a few cons tho. My biggest complaints are the low clearance for the height, about 1 inch is a bit limiting. The average honeycomb is around the same height so it leaves just a few mms available. You can use it without one but it means burning the bottom plate. Which just looks bad on an aesthetic level. I was told a honeycomb is in the works but I wish it fame prepackaged with one. I wish it supported an official riser, tho it can be 3d peinted if you're into tinkering. I get that the RA3 can engrave sideways ao it's not necessary for most people, but this leads me to my next issue: As a regular RA3 owner I am a bit disappointed about the fact I will have to purchase an adapter before I could use it with the machine. Lastly: being able to print ia cool but I wish it had more ink options. Water based dye isn't that appealing to me because of its lack of durability, which can be inproved with a sealer. I decided to pass on it for now but might get my hands on it in the future. It's cool for projects that are meant to be temporary or for the print then cut workflow. Despite these nipticks I absolutely love this machine and can't wait to out it in use. Finally: Xtool have been very useful solcing any issue so far and kudos to them for that

I absolutely love this machine! As a beginner to the laser world, I’ve always wanted one, but they were just never affordable—until this machine came along! When I first pulled it out of the box, I was a little worried because I didn't see a printed instruction manual. However, there was a QR code that took me straight to their website, which is packed with all kinds of helpful "how-to" videos. My anxiety completely melted away. I made one of the sample items using the provided test material, and I was off and running! Right out of the gate, I used it to create custom awards for an event I was helping run: a wooden cutting board, a stainless steel spatula, and chopping knives. They turned out absolutely wonderful! (I did use a laser marking spray for the metal pieces to get that perfect, crisp finish). Now, I am dreaming up all kinds of projects. Thank goodness for Prime Day, because I just ordered a bunch of blanks to play with! I have another event this weekend and am already making custom glasses and printed magnets. As a Colorado artist who draws and paints whimsical art, my mind is absolutely racing with the possibilities of turning my designs into fun laser projects. I am so excited to see what this machine can create with my artistic abilities driving it! **** All items were purchased on Amazon

I'm still learning this engraver, but so far it's amazing!! Clean lines and absolute precision. One word of warning - if you like tp keep your things as close to new as possible - get a metal plate for the bottom. The first time I used it, the laser carved the shape's imprint in the bottom of the machine and now I'm stuck with it.

its an amazing machine at 10 watts. well worth the price even though i had to but the desktop air purifier from the xtool website so that it would work with the M2. even if other machines can cut similarly, having the dual cameras to line things up is a superior addition. I'm pretty happy with xtool studio software too, I may not be missing anything in comparison to lightburn which does not work with this because the cameras are not supported.

It’s not easy! DONT be fooled by the marketing. This device works but need very deep skill to navigate. Ive asked for help with no reply. So much anxiety over spending so much money and time on something that stresses me out! I’m serious. Power settings and speed are very cryptic so you can’t easily find a setting.
