It was on the BACK , why anyone would want to turn it off, I don't know, because you can't see the clock without the backlight I took this picture with all of the lights off ,totally pitch black, and this is how bad this product doesn't compare to a electric cord clock. , my OTHER "ELECTRIC" CORD CLOCK does a great job of being bright. Update. The company reached out to me right away to try and resolve the issue. I was impressed. They said they would refund me and send me a new one. I told them thank you and yes please do. That was almost two weeks ago and I haven’t gotten either the refund or the new clock. Now even more frustrated than before. This clock features are good but the batteries do not last long at all. It take AAA and AAA. I am on my third rounds of barriers in less than 4 months.

This clock is exactly what I needed for my classroom. It is large and easy to read from across the room. I like that it has the date and day of the week. Normally clocks like this also show the seconds, this one doesn’t which was a selling point for me. I don’t like when people stare at the clock and count down seconds until the bell rings, but of course not everyone has to consider that when buying a clock.

We loved this clock and it was perfect until the date and temperature disappeared. Very disappointed. The time is still there but we bought it for all of the features. Update… after replacing all of the batteries - our clock is working fine. Should have tried troubleshooting before review. US Rexs LLC immediately sent an email with an offer to refund our money. I appreciate that but we are keeping the clock. Thank you! Great Customer Service.

** Update ** After leaving an honest review about the clock being glitchy, the company reached out. They provided a replacement. So far the replacement is working great. Their customer service alone would be worth a try. I'm going to give it a few months and if the new clock is still working correctly, I'll add that 5th star to the review. Bought this less than a year ago. Worked great at first. Big clear numbers. Has day, date and temp. However a few times, I noticed the time being off. Changed out the batteries and continued to do it. The past couple of months it has been glitchy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it wont, but even when it does the time is wrong. I figure it's not the batteries because the day, date and temp are all still correct. If you are reading this and considering buying, I'm about to look for one that will last longer than 8 months.

I like the straight clean lines and the size. I did very much like the backlight, but it's not feasible to keep it on, if you do, you'll need new batteries every three weeks.
