Love this sauna. Heats up in 15-20 minutes. Delivery was fast and professional and came in 2 boxes. I built a cart for the sauna to sit on. Reason being that space is limited in my garage and access to my cabinet is important. With the cart this solves the problem as it moves really easily. The sauna assembly took 30 minutes start to finish with my son’s help. The panels are not really heavy, but you need someone to hold one up as you bring the other one up next to it to slide into the latches. Definitely do not recommend trying it alone. The wiring had no instructions but it’s pretty self-explanatory. You just figure out what plugs into what based on the size of the fittings. Don’t force any of them, each one should fit into its mate easily. The under seat connections are the first part and then connecting the wires on the ceiling at the second. Both parts were very easy and straightforward. The unit is very beautiful. Mine had no defects or damage. It looked very very clean and neat. Very clean smooth panels with no splinters or rough edges. The glass door has heft and looks beautiful. It closes magnetically and retains heat in the unit really well. The size is perfect for one person which is exactly what I wanted and the advantage in getting a one person spa is that heats up really fast. The light is a nice touch. I like the fact that it has a heating panel on the door itself. I got it at the discounted Christmas price which was fantastic which came to around $1500 including shipping and taxes. Connecting to the Bluetooth speakers had no instructions by the way so I had to look that up under questions and answers here on Amazon. It works really easily. All you do is open the Bluetooth connection on your smart phone and connect to “BS” (or SB, regardless, the new connection!). Speakers sound is clear and wonderful, with the volume being controlled by your phone. Don’t take your phone into the unit as it will probably get damaged by the heat. I am 5‘10“. I sit in there very comfortably. My knees have about 2” clearance from the door. My first session was really relaxing. I set the temperature to 110°F so I could acclimatize. After about 15 minutes I adjusted it to 120°F and began to sweat profusely. I plan to bump it up to 140 after a week and reap the full benefits. As long as you’re sweating, and notice that your heart rate is elevated, you will derive the physiological benefits, and will notice improvements in cardiovascular health, in addition to so many other benefits. I ordered a sauna backrest as you can see in the photograph absolutely love this unit and highly recommend it especially at the fantastic price which is not found anywhere else. So far we are enjoying this personal Sauna and definitely happy with how quickly it warms up. It takes from 18 to 20 minutes to warm to 140°, which is record time compared to our last Sauna. We do have it in our downstairs basement area which is cooler, so it may heat up faster if set up on the upstairs level. The unit was easy to assemble with it (mostly) being done by one person. It does help to have an extra person to help when needed. It took about 45 to 50 minutes to assemble and the instructions were clear and easy to decipher. We especially like that heat comes from all angles in this Sauna. The glass door has a heater on it and the tile floor heats as well. With all of the heat angles we feel like we are getting the most of this sauna . My husband is 5' 10', I am shorter, but we are both able to slip into it with no problems. The sauna comes delivered in 3 boxes. My husband and I were easily able to move each piece to our backyard and lay everything out prior to assembly. Putting it together took us less than an hour, as it was not complicated (tongue and groove alignment). Even getting the roof on was not that much of a challenge, which considering my size (4'11", 90lbs) is an indicator that this is not that heavy or awkward and can be done with two able bodied people. The build quality is great and the only small issue we had was that initially the Bluetooth speakers would not connect, as in we could not figure how to locate them. However, we switched from an Android phone to Iphone, found it and suddenly it was working. The lights can be set to cycle through all of the colors or to stay one one of the selected. There is also the option of running the interior light with the colored lights or solo. As for the temperature, it definitely takes longer than 10 minutes to get up to a hot temperature but I find that within 15 minutes it is near 35ºC and within 30 minutes it is over 50ºC. I have had been able to get it up to 60-64º with air temps in the high single digits (2-4º Celsius, or 35-40ºF. It stays on for a total duration of 60 minutes and then if you want longer you can add more time/reset. It does not cool down that quickly, which is nice because sometimes my husband and I cannot coordinate schedules perfectly, he will use it, then do a cold plunge and I will come out after he has turned it off to do the same and it is still warm. I chose to purchase the backrests, as well as the padded cushions for the benches - I recommend this if you have a bony frame and not a lot of padding to protect you from hard surfaces. One thing to note, this is marketed as a 4 person sauna but it really only fits 4 people if you sit upright, knees bent, feet flat on the floor facing forward. If you want any amount of relaxing, keep it to two people. For reference, my husband if 5'10" and I am 4'11" and if we each take a side, we are comfortable. Only add people if you are really not bothered by sitting right next to someone. We set it up on November 4th and have been using it almost every day, either before or after a cold plunge. This is my first time using an Infrared sauna, my only prior experience with a sauna was in a traditional sauna in Iceland. Infrared does not get as hot in terms of absolute temperature but it does have the same effects for me. I don't mind heat and it takes me a while to start sweating, which was my same experience in a traditional sauna. My husband sweats easily, and he will be sweating within 15-20 minutes in there. I live in New Hampshire where winter temperatures will get below freezing (as in 0º/32ºF) for most nights and many days, so I am excited to see how this fares over the course of the winter. Sauna has been working great and for the core sauna 5 stars. Quality is in line with the price point. A few little flaws but overall a nice tight fit when assembled. Hopefully it performs well as the weather cools! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is wiring issues. Customer service was great, however it took multiple times to get the Bluetooth speaker wires to connect. Seems to be a flawed connection in the ceiling. Once that was fixed the lights are acting odd and I don’t want to keep taking the roof off and compromising the structure so I just live with the lights as they are.
