Super easy to install and seem like they will work well. Took a star off for the giant gaudy logo that puts you on blast for not wanting to spend $700 on Thule, I’ll probably wrap that in electrical tape or something. Can’t speak for the straps but if they suck, straps are cheap. No missing parts, came with extra bolts of various length.

I needed a set of kayak carriers that would fit into the garage as the non-foldable ones had to be removed to fit the car in the garage. Found these and installed them easily. They old the single kayak fine in the down position and both kayaks in the upright position. They are very easy to adjust and seem to lock in well when positioned well. Like the ability to set the position of vertical at all the various settings (less than and more than 90 degrees) as that will make it easy if the need occurs. The crossbar attachments hold the carrier in place well and are easy to tighten or loosen as required. Like the two pieces in each set so if necessary I could spread out the carrying option, though mine are like to remain in the middle of the car where I started with them. Each one tightening on their own made it a nice and flexible feature.

The racks have a nice design that allows me to get 2 fiberglass kayaks on top of my Subaru Forester with enough room for my plastic sit-on-top. The J design holds the boats securely. The straps have to be pre-positioned for both boats before you load the first boat or you have to wrestle to get the straps on for the second boat. My only complaint was these racks were previously purchased, used, and then returned. There was a lot of paint scraped off of the rack down to the aluminum. If this was a steel rack I would have returned them.

I had originally bought another set of kayak racks from another company that turned out to be awful. Last minute, I bought these to bring my kayaks on a 3 hour trip. These are perfect. I set them up, on my own on top of my jeep. Quick and easy setup. Really happy they just flip down when not in use and are just two pieces instead of four separate parts. They have lasted and had no issues over the past month.

These are pretty cheap, but work 100%. I gave them 4 stars for the price I paid. Nothing wrong with them at all, they work. Someone said something about them coming apart at the bottom, I think they are made that way so they can accept different sized kayaks and different sized cars. I do not think it is a design flaw like others have said. That said, I have used them all summer without any issues. I wished the straps were better, but again they work. So 4 stars, for this price point.

My husband purchased this for me, I purchased a other brand which I set up 1st very heavy duty and extremely stable. I open this one first glance it was very light weight. As I take everything out to set up their was not alot to set up, the aluminum attach just seat inside not secure. We had a huge problem since my husband and son Kayak are quite heavy. I won't feel secure putting them on it not only that when their no Kayak on it you would have to remove the attachment since it not secure on it own.
