Great product! Easy to assemble if you have tools, the provided "tool" kinda sucks. Been on the car for about a month some rust showing on the nut and bolts. I carry 2 13' tandem fishing yaks on our car. Comes with ratchet straps, tie downs and straps for the hood and back door to tie down to. I love that it lays down completely when not in use. Too much of a pain to take off the car, total of 16 bolts to remove. Overall, happy with the product. At a great prrice compared to other name brand mounts. Fits well on my vehicle.

No need to pay the hefty price for Thule or Yakima. This roof rack (double kayak) is rugged heavy gauge steel, well built and sturdy. Well designed with high density padding where it’s needed and all the straps you need to secure it to your vehicle. I like that the upright bars can be folded flat. Instructions aren’t great but you can figure it out with the pictures and some common sense. Even came with kayak bow and stern carrying handle straps which I wasn’t expecting. Glad I went with this seller!

Gave this to our daughter as a Christmas present, finally saw it mounted on her car and she was quite pleased with. Seems very sturdy & it easily holds two kayaks! Glad we got it for her. Just keep in mind that you need clearance the knobs under the carrier, so if your mounting rack on the car is very close to the roof of your car, you may have to just use nuts and a wrench, but this should be fine with 99% of most vehicles. ;-)

The total install time was maybe a half hour, from opening the box to the final tightening of the bolts. I used thread-lock on some of the assembly bolts, out of an abundance of caution. I left it on the car most of the summer and there was a little rust on the bolts when I took it off this fall. The foam was still in pretty good shape, just covered in bugs. I used it to haul 2 10' kayaks with the center poles up and a 14' tandem with the center pole down. The kayaks were held securely and I had no problems with them on a highway trip of about an hour. I'd highly recommend these. Much cheaper than the big names but sturdy enough. I also used them to help haul lumber for a backyard project, but that's probably not their intended use...

Seems to be a good rack for my 12.5' kayak. I was a little worried at first, with a low-priced item that would be holding a higher priced kayak. But I was surprised at the quality. I have driven up and down the Interstates and have had now worries. Just make sure your use the hooked ratchet straps if you are transporting a longer kayak. I have been completely happy with this purchase.
