Great product! Easy to assemble if you have tools, the provided "tool" kinda sucks. Been on the car for about a month some rust showing on the nut and bolts. I carry 2 13' tandem fishing yaks on our car. Comes with ratchet straps, tie downs and straps for the hood and back door to tie down to. I love that it lays down completely when not in use. Too much of a pain to take off the car, total of 16 bolts to remove. Overall, happy with the product. At a great prrice compared to other name brand mounts. Fits well on my vehicle. ... show more

Excellent product why pay more. The straps system allowing to hook inside the hood of the car is a major plus for long distance driving. It comes with clear instructions and even a small socket wrench. The ratcheting straps are long enough .I cannot be more happy with this purchase

No need to pay the hefty price for Thule or Yakima. This roof rack (double kayak) is rugged heavy gauge steel, well built and sturdy. Well designed with high density padding where it’s needed and all the straps you need to secure it to your vehicle. I like that the upright bars can be folded flat. Instructions aren’t great but you can figure it out with the pictures and some common sense. Even came with kayak bow and stern carrying handle straps which I wasn’t expecting. Gave this to our daughter as a Christmas present, finally saw it mounted on her car and she was quite pleased with. Seems very sturdy & it easily holds two kayaks! Glad we got it for her. Just keep in mind that you need clearance the knobs under the carrier, so if your mounting rack on the car is very close to the roof of your car, you may have to just use nuts and a wrench, but this should be fine with 99% of most vehicles. ;-) ... show more
