Great once dialed in. No apps/software required. Xerox replaced defective Cyan under warranty.
TLDR: Fast, high quality printing with easy Wi Fi setup. The original blue cartridge was defective, but the replacement resolved the problem. PDF and photo printing needed some fine tuning. Excellent double sided printing and immediate ink drying. My Xerox C245 has been set up for nearly two months now, and aside from some initial issues getting everything dialed in, I've been very pleased with it. The ink that came with the printer had a problem with blue from day one. Whenever I printed something in color, I would get blue smudges across the page, and anything printed in blue had random areas where the ink was missing. The cartridge was defective, but Xerox replaced it under warranty, and the replacement has been working properly. Like any printer, there was also some trial and error involved in getting the print settings right. Every program seems to want to print slightly differently. I have an issue with PDFs where the right margin is too small, causing part of the right side of the page to be cut off. I've tried adjusting it in Adobe, my computer's printer settings, and the Xerox app, and I've had the same issue printing from both my phone and desktop. Photos also initially came out much too blue and pink, so I had to make some adjustments and follow a few online tutorials. Once I got the settings where I wanted them, the results were much better. Like most printers, there's a learnign curve here. The actual printing is excellent. It is extremely fast, and I love having double sided printing, which was a limitation with my previous printer. The ink dries immediately, so I can handle the pages as soon as they come out without worrying about smearing. Everything I've printed has been crisp, defined, and high quality, both in color and black and white. Connecting it to Wi Fi was also easy. I didn't need to download any special software or apps onto my computer. Once the printer was connected to our network, I could print from my phone, desktop, or laptop without any trouble. I gave this 5/5 stars because once I got the settings dialed in and replaced the defective cartridge, the printer has performed extremely well. Beautiful prints but has some toner waste issues
Overall, the MFP does an adequate job with color reproduction. It’s not going to replace a dedicated photo printer, but for normal documents, graphics, and everyday color printing, the output is good. The toner is also used across several models, so I expect the cost to come down over time, and it has already started dropping since I received the printer. The scanner is one of the highlights. It’s fast and relatively quiet, and scanning 30 pages in full color went by surprisingly quickly. Unfortunately, I did notice what I consider excessive toner waste. At first I thought I might have gotten a bad cartridge, but replacing it with a new OEM cartridge produced the same results. The yellow and magenta toner in particular seem to leak or accumulate where they shouldn't. It got bad enough at one point that I actually had to stop the print job, unplug the machine, and break out the MetroVac toner vacuum to clean it up. That's definitely not something I expect to be doing with a brand-new device. That said, when I average everything out, it still does a good job and I'm reasonably happy with the overall performance. The size is also a big bonus. The days of every color laser being a massive piece of office furniture are apparently over. This one fit into the spot where I previously kept a small inkjet, with room to spare. So, good overall performance and a surprisingly compact footprint, but the toner leakage/waste is something I'd definitely keep an eye on. YMMV.

A Compact Color Printer That Fits Right Into a Small Office
I’ve been using this printer for everyday office printing, scanning, and copying, and I like how much functionality it packs into a relatively compact body. It fits comfortably on my desk without making the workspace feel crowded. The 2.8-inch control panel is simple and easy to understand, with straightforward menus and buttons that don’t take much time to get used to. The wireless setup is one of my favorite features. Using the Xerox Easy Assist app, I was able to handle most of the initial setup from my phone without going through a long traditional driver-installation process. It supports Wi-Fi and Apple AirPrint, so I can print directly from my phone, tablet, or laptop, which is especially convenient when working between different devices. USB and wired network connections are also available when I need them. For everyday documents, the 26 ppm rated speed feels quite respectable. Text comes out sharp and easy to read, while color charts, graphics, and simple images look clean enough for reports, handouts, and internal office materials. Automatic two-sided printing is another feature I use often—it saves paper and means I don’t have to manually flip pages. Scanning and copying have also been reliable. The flatbed scanner produces clean-looking documents with enough detail for everyday archiving, and the automatic document feeder is helpful when I have a stack of pages to process. It may not have every high-end feature of a larger business machine, but for a small office or home workspace, it covers the basics very well. I’m fairly sensitive to printer noise, so I noticed that this one has the typical operating sounds of a laser printer while printing. The noise level is moderate rather than silent, but I wouldn’t describe it as particularly harsh or distracting. The 250-sheet paper tray is adequate for normal daily use, although anyone printing large batches will probably need to refill it fairly often. Color toner can also become a noticeable expense if you print a lot of color pages.

Great color printer
This Xerox C245 color printer was super simple to setup and get running. Wireless connectivity works very well and have not had any issues sending print job to the printer. The Xerox Easy Assist app made setup a breeze and was able to print in no time. My wife immediately took this to her classroom so she could print out projects for the kiddos and has been printing like crazy. Color quality is amazing and print speed at 26 pages per minute is great for this use case. Everything printed so far is clear, smudge, and error free. Being able to print to it from multiple devices makes it very versatile. Even in the classroom it is not to loud and does not bother us at all. The front display is easy to use and navigate through the menus. The printer holds 50 sheets of paper which is a nice amount. Scanning and copying seems to work as designed but not something we will use all the time but there is instances where this will be a very useful feature. Overall this printer is great for small office, school, home office, etc.. We have had no issues with this printer or its quality.

Will not install, chat support wants a paid contract to even help.!
Initial setup failed, spent hours trying to initialize or factory reset. None of the default admin or Admin password options work. Sat on chat with support to finally get to a person that ended the call when the new printer did not have a paid support contract. I was looking forward to have a reputable brand like Xerox here in my office. What an utter disappointment. Totally frustrated at the potentially and failure of what Xerox app and install was like. After installing hundreds of printers and some of the largest data centers in the world. Stay away.

High quality printing
The Xerox C245 Wireless Color All-in-One Printer has been a great fit for our house because I wanted one machine that could handle regular printing, color projects, scanning and copying without taking up a ridiculous amount of space. Getting a wireless printer connected can sometimes be the part I dread the most but setup with this one was much easier than I expected. Once I had it connected, being able to send something to print without having to plug my computer into the printer made it so much more convenient. With kids in school and things I need to print for work, ours gets used for a little bit of everything. The print speed really surprised me. I can send several pages at once and I’m not standing there forever waiting for them to finish. Text comes out sharp and I’ve been happy with the color quality for worksheets, projects and other everyday printing. I also appreciate having the scanner and copier built in. I don’t use those features every day but when I need to make a quick copy or scan something, I don’t have to find another way to do it. This gives me the features I would expect from a larger office printer in a size that makes sense for home. It has handled everything I’ve needed it for so far and the faster printing is probably the difference I notice most compared with the basic home printers I’ve used before.

This is a great printer
I print enough that I need a printer to just WORK without me having to negotiate with it every time I need something, and so far this Xerox has been solid. Print quality is crisp, especially with text, and color documents come out clean and vibrant. It's also pretty quick. When I'm printing multiple pages, I'm not standing there wondering if the printer forgot what we were doing halfway through the job. 😂 Having printing, scanning, and copying in one machine is important for me because I don't want separate equipment taking up more room. Wireless printing is convenient once everything is connected, and I like being able to send something over without physically plugging my computer into the printer. This is definitely more of a serious home-office/small-business printer than something I'd buy if I only printed three pages a year. It's compact for what it does, but it's still a substantial machine. Excellent printer.
Overall, the print quality looks great. It's a big boy, but it does a great job so it's fine. Super heavy, don't try to wrangle this alone (although it's packaged to be easy to get out of the box). Setup was straightforward, make sure you don't skip the initial setup because it doesn't let you go back and we ended up having to do a factory reset which was fine, but not ideal). It was simple to get it set up wirelessly on the WiFi and get the app on my phone. It feels like a durable design. I hope to have it for a long time. As mentioned, this is big. (It's described as compact, and I guess if you're comparing it to a commercial copy machine, this table top design is compact but it's not, on its own, a printer I would describe as small.) Print quality is great in both color and black and white. Overall it seems like a decent value for the money and I'm a highly satisfied user.
