Great product. Wyze is the way to go for cameras and doorbells. The trick here is to connect the doorbell first, in the Wyze app. If you add an SD card make sure it is the "high endurance" SD card if you are going to be recording constantly. I hotwired this doorbell, and set it to constantly record. I can also set how long individual videos last if a person is detected, or package, or whatever you want to choose. It was easy to connect, and set the motion sensitivity. It is pointed at the road, but on medium detection it has not picked up cars, or people walking on the sidewalk. The mounting was easy, but remember to use the tool to push down from the top if you need to take it off the mounting plate. If Wyze were to make any improvement it would be to add a little cover for the top to shade the camera from the porch light. (see pictures) If you have a light above or on the side of the doorbell, the camera picks up the light and adds a light reflection to the video. I bought a strip of hard, black plastic and cut it into a square, then attached it to the top of the doorbell with simple, thin, two-way foam adhesion. Since I'm hardwired, I shouldn't need to remove it, but it's not stuck on super tight if I did.

I really like the two camera views in this doorbell by Wyze. Setup was easy. It allows me not only to see who is coming up but to see the package when left alone. I would recommend an sd card, because the clips you get through events are small. The monitoring is awesome especially away from home (monitoring and events are through subscription). We get a bit of traffic during the week so an extra battery is suggested when having alot of people pass by.

Cons: Battery life isn't 6months Camera doesn't pickup motion that's 10 ft from it (Example the huge dog getting onto my proch late at night tearing stuff up only caught once on camera bad boy) Takes a couple of minutes to fully connect from the phone to the doorbell to speak PROS Does take good pictures and videos can make out what's what on what Alerted of movement and time stamped Two way convo Battery operated which is convenient since my house has no wiring and I don't want someone coming over to charge me to install Easy install Good value The chime is good because I can hear the back of the house that hey there's someone at the door Quality for everything overall I would say is good the only reason for the 4/5 is only because you let the dog get away several times

I bought this for my front door so if packages were dropped off and I wasn't home I could make sure they didn't disappear. It works great I can see the whole porch and straight out so if someone comes onto the porch. It does give a warning when detecting someone that they are being recorded.

I have a dozen Wyze cameras of various models in a few locations. I went with this thinking it'd be easier to not have a separate app and get the great functionality I've always gotten... but that's not how it works. The doorbell camera is horrible. It works as a doorbell... and that's about it. It doesn't detect motion. It won't record unless it detects motion. Thus it doesn't really work as a camera whatsoever. It never works to drop in and see what is going on. It is usually unable to connect... and I have a cameras both closer and further to the router that have no problem. The battery (which I had to buy separately and got a Wyze genuine product) lasts about four days (from full to zero)... which is amazingly little considering it isn't recording and I had it turn off the indicator light and other energy-intensive features. There are some features that would be nice and I thought were included on such a device... but Wyze apparently decides that now you must pay a monthly subscription to do very basic things like record (to my own SD) for more than 12 seconds or with shorter than a minute apart. And even if I paid, it doesn't fix that it hardly ever connects and won't record nor that it fails to detect motion - like people and large packages coming to the door - even on the highest sensitivity. It really doesn't detect on the lowest sensitivity or anything between - I tried to get this thing to work. It doesn't detect or record at night - period - even with IR on. I'm not sure what to say it does do well. Yes, there's two cameras. For the brief seconds it randomly works (without motion - just random and not every day as it usually won't connect) there is OK video. Fishbowl, but OK. I've never had a problem with my Wyze products before. Now that I do - Customer service is nonexistent! I won't buy another Wyze product just because of this. The quality is going down quickly and I wouldn't want to risk it.
