I wanted a doorbell camera that was battery operated, had the ability to use a sim card for data storage and wasn't huge and obtrusive when installed. And I found all of these things when I purchased this Mubview wireless doorbell camera. It was super easy to install and sinc up to my I-Phone. I placed it under my front door porch about 10" away from my door handle as you can see in the attached photo. Due to it's fairly wide angle lens it's in a perfect location for me to see anyone that stands in front of my door and even when they're off to the side as well. Customizing the settings to your preference is also easy peasy. I can set the motion detection sensitivity anywhere I want as it can be adjusted on a scale of 1-5. So even though I'm facing a street that's around 40' in front of my house, I can set the motion detection sensitivity up to level 4 to trigger when vehicles go by or I can set it lower to level 3 so vehicles aren't triggering the alarm. Looking at alarms that came through in the middle of the night is simple by just going to my history on the cameras app where I can either manually scroll through the alarm times or the app will scroll forward through these alarm triggers for me. The night vision is in black and white but very clear and I'm happy with it. One of my concerns was how long the battery would last, especially living in the north where it's cold. I've had the camera installed around 3 weeks now and my battery says it's at 50%. With the cold temps we've had, sometimes below zero for a few days and then back to the 30's and 40's I am super pleased, especially knowing that I've been taxing the battery more than I will normally by playing around with it and having fun. The length of the videos taken is also customizable at 10, 20 or 30 seconds. I set mine to 20 seconds and wondered if that longer time would deplete my battery sooner, so it may but my battery is in great shape as described above so I'll be leaving it at 20 for now. I look at reviews a lot to figure out what I'm going to buy and I don't leave reviews very often, though I should. In saying that I felt that folks should know that my experience with the Mubview camera has been excellent thus far and I'm really glad I made this purchase,. There's a lot more great features that I haven't addressed but then this review would go on forever. So I'm giving it two thumbs up to all of you who are looking for a decent reliable easy to use full featured doorbell camera. Ta Da!

First, I would like to begin off with saying this item isn't as bad as other say it might be. I actually think it a good item with a fair price to have outside of the house for safety and just for a doorbell. You would think this item isn't going to be as good as the ringer company but, I was totally wrong. I order two camera from the company, one for the back and one for the front. When, I open there it was as describe in the description came with everything that was necessary. Wireless as it can be, easy to install it only took like 10 min max for each camera. So overall, for the setting up the good review was right. The only cons, I have isn't the motion detection because, I though it wasn't actually that bad cause, it was to sensitive or to little you know I mean. The only down part was, setting up the alarm when the camera get pulled off of the mount, it took awhile to figure out how to make the sound go off and on because, there wasn't a instruction on that but, manage to figure it out. Additionally, with this pairing it with the other device seem to be a different instruction that wasn't sent to us or it just didn't come with it so we wasn't sure how to pair them up except play around with it, not sure what the point of the Chime Setting if it doesn't pair. Hope to figure that out soon. The other con, I have was that one of the device alarm sound was more quieter then the other one, we though it was because, the sound management was turn on to quiet but, turns out it wasn't that because, it was at 100% and still very quiet. Which most likely, mean if a burgherly came we won't even notice it was gone until we received a notification on our phone or nevertheless they would just cover the sound. But, overall with these cons the product is a very good installment to the doorbell and camera view. One more thing is the service for help is very nice. If you have issue, they do help you out as much as possible.

Overall very happy with the doorbell camera system. The picture is crisp and there is an impressive wide-angle field of view. The audio is clear from both the microphone and the speaker. When someone rings the bell you get an alert on your phone if you set it up to receive alerts, when you click on the alert you are taken to a video chat style screen with the option to answer, decline, or leave a message. If you accept the call you are instantly connected to speak with the visitor. You can see video and hear audio while the visitor can only hear you. The doorbell button is large and has a chime symbol therefore anyone should have no trouble ringing the bell. The chime is a little speaker box that you can sit or mount anywhere that's convenient for you. It has both battery and AC power options, I opted for the batteries myself. You can select from various ringtone and volume options. You should have no trouble hearing this chime in the house. I like that the chime is black so it blends in with my decor better. The app is very simple to use and the whole system is quite simple to set up. You just download the app and sign up for a free account, then follow the easy instructions to initialize your hardware. You have various customizations available such as camera sensitivity, recording duration, etc. The app is very intuitive. This system can be used as a standard wireless outdoor camera in addition to the doorbell function. It will record any motion activated activity within its field of view and you can also view it real time whenever you want. the whole system runs through wifi. To recharge the system you simply remove it from the mounting bracket and bring it in to plug in to the supplied cable. Remaining battery percentage is available through the app. Everything is included with the system with the exception of a micro SD card if you plan to keep recorded video for your alerts which I highly recommend. Formatting the card is easy just follow the simple prompts. We are very pleased with the camera and it provides us with some welcome added security for the home. Living out in the country means that anyone can lurk around our house and no one would know. We highly recommend this system to anyone who is in the market for one of these.

I have had this thing for a few years now, since 2022 to be exact . At first it was great , everything I needed and wanted . Local storage and did exactly as it said it would . Then a couple years later , the app changed and things started to not work the way it should, if it even worked at all. The alert notifications would pop up but I wouldn’t be able to view the actual event . I had to go Into the history alert which would let me view a couple of events but not all. What pushed me over the limit of patience was when I was on vacation a couple weeks back and when I tried to look at the events history , I would get a black no video screen . Making it completely useless . So the only thing that works now it the live function . I’m looking at replacing it with a new and different camera now .

Its a toss up for me with this one. I have a different brand on my back door which I really like but it lags a bit so I wanted to try a different product to compare. I wont say yes do buy this or no dont buy it. Ill just tell you about it and you judge. So the camera on it is amazing. Very clear, life like, picks up a good distance far and wide. The camera picking up outside surrounding area is just as good as the expensive ring brand. The door bell box is battery operated not a plug in and has a couple settings for like 4 diff ring tones and volume button with adjustments. The lowest setting is not to loud but loud enough to hear through out the house so the volume buttons are a plus. On the back of the camera is a button that sticks out. When you place the camera into the base the button should be pushed in to not set off unless its removed from the base. Its a theft alarm. The app you download to connect the device has a setting to either turn that theft alarm on or off. The base is not a tight squeeze. Where I live I dont think or am unaware of these devices of any brand being an issue with folks trying to steal them. However if they wanted to steal this type/brand its very quick and easy to remove. The theft alarm is supposed to help that. When you need to remove the device to charge it make sure you go in the app and turn the setting off because the alarm will go off for you as well once you remove it. For me the alarm was extremely sensitive and always going off even while sitting still in the base and some how I'd turn the setting off on my app so it just wouldnt go off ever but even that didnt stop it. So I put some tape over the back to push in and keep help in the alarm button. If mine gets stolen so be it but the alarm is loud and was annoying that I constantly had to get up and go mess with it to get it back off. The whole camera is very sensitive. Every car that drives past my house the camera alerts my phone and my house sits far back from the street. You can adjust sensitivity levels. I keep mine right in the middle or on 3 I think it is and its not so bad. The door bell works good and will call your phone like a phone call and you can accept or decline. Over all my doors dont have peep holes and I just want to know whos knocking at my door since I cant see with no peep hole so it does the job for me. Im not sure if these are supposed to come with an SD card or not. I didnt read to much about that but mine doesnt have one and the device will work without one however it will not record anything without one. Its not a bad product just has a few quirks. Also the doorbell box comes included with new pre packed batteries and it comes with a charging cable for the door bell. Installation was quick and easy just screwing in 2 screws. I still would recommend this product

My previous cameras were wired, laggy, and a real pain to reconnect if there was a power outage. I decided it was time for an upgrade. After a few months of research, I purchased 2 of these, 1 for the front door and 1 for the back door/yard. I also purchased 128gb SD cards to go with them. For the most part, I love these. The night vision is great. I can see and hear the grandkids very clearly when they’re over and playing in the back yard, which makes it easy to run inside to get them food and drinks. The SD card means I can record without taking up phone storage. They don’t go off for every single car that passes my busy street but they do go off for any person that gets within range. I love that you can go into the settings and set the sensitivity of the motion sensor (5 settings), the length of time that it records when the motion sensor goes off (10, 20, or 30 seconds on custom), and can choose the alarm tone. You can also put it on tamper alarm in case someone tries to take it off or mess with it. There are a few things that I REALLY dislike. It only goes on 2.4g WiFi, which means slower internet on my phone. I can’t figure out how to record constantly (if there is a setting for that). And location setting needs to be on to use the app, which I really hate because I usually never turn that on unless I’m using maps. I can also see how the app may be confusing for someone who never used a security camera app before. Those are just personal preferences though and do not significantly affect how the camera works, so I’m still giving it 5 stars. All in all, I would definitely recommend this doorbell camera.
