I have truly enjoyed this camera every since I purchased it. I have it set at my front door overlooking my parcel drop box. I receive a lot of packages throughout the week and it has been invaluable in helping me to make contact with the shippers when they arrive to give them the drop box code. The camera quality is great, night vision works well, sensitivity is adjustable to get everything from cars driving by the house at the high end to human detection capabilities that only send alerts when the delivery guy shows up at the door. I don't know why anyone would spend hundreds of dollars on other doorbell cam products as this one cost a fraction and does everything the others do. Also I was very happy with the fact that you have the option to use an SD card for storage purposes instead of being forced in to a cloud service contract. The option is available however for those that would like to go that route but not required. The battery life is outstanding. It lasted nearly a month before I had to recharge it. I noticed that this may tend to vary slightly if you keep the live feed on constantly but if only used for notifications it last a long time. Setup was a breeze and the customer service and follow up to make sure you are satisfied with the product are well above par with your average online company. This smart video doorbell has become something vital for me. I am used to receive many packages, and it has been of much help for me to make contact with the shippers when they arrive to give them the drop box code. It also helps me to watch the surroundings when I am not at home. It has a very good definition of the image and sound and the battery lasts for more than 3 weeks. With a problem that I had with the installation, they gave me technical support and even sent me a replacement camera. I strongly recommend this camera for your safety and peace of mind.     • Does the job at a much more reasonable price than Ring
We were in the market for a wireless doorbell/camera and I was hoping to find an alternate option to Ring that had a lower price tag. Overall this doorbell does the trick with a couple quirks that just take getting used to. Out of the box, setup is relatively easy. Connected to our Wifi and was able to install the doorbell's "dock" on my house without an issue. The app is straightforward and simple to navigate. But here's where Quirk #1 comes into play: Two devices cannot use the same login information to get into the app. I was hoping to just share a login with my wife, but nope. If one of us was logged in on our phone, the other got booted from the app. Deal breaker? No. A little annoying? Yes. But after spending a couple minutes creating an additional account and adding it as a family member, we were good to go and able to access the app simultaneously. Quirk #2: To this day I still cannot figure out how to access/sign up for cloud storage. Again, not a deal breaker because I just picked up a micro SD card and use that, but they seriously make it difficult for me to give them additional money by using their storage services. They should probably fix that. Battery life is awesome. After initial charge, the doorbell lasted 6-7 weeks and still had a little juice left in it when I plugged it in to recharge. No issues whatsoever with picture and audio. Crystal clear, sharp HD video, and two-way audio works well. Motion detection almost works TOO well, have had to mess with the sensitivity because it was alerting me to cars driving by a bit too frequently. I fortunately haven't had to use the Siren mode yet but I'm glad it's there in case someone is trying to break in or if I want to mess with our kids. PROS - Simple setup and installation - Sharp, clear HD video - Clear two-way audio - Long battery life - Cheaper than Ring - Easy-to-navigate app - Solid alert and motion detection system CONS - Clunky account system if needing multiple users - Hard-to-find (or possibly mythical) cloud storage functionality ... show more
