  • Great price, dependable camera
Color: Ash Style: Battery
I love my nest doorbell! We recently purchased this doorbell after having vivint. We loved vivint but we didn’t love their prices! I will say the camera quality of the Google nest is actually really good! You can zoom in and out, you can speak to people through the doorbell, it records motion & also keeps track of your deliveries and packages! The battery life is not bad at all especially for being battery operated! We charge our battery once every 3-4 weeks which is honestly really good! It provides really good night vision and super easy set up! Plus there are no hidden fees, no app fees and no weekly bills! It connects to your cell phone with Bluetooth & WiFi and overall just a great deal. After my mom saw mine, she ordered one for her house! ADT security uses the same cameras and they mark up the prices to install them. ... show more

  • All I could ask for.
Color: Ivy Style: Battery
Cons: The battery life is shorter than I'd prefer but not so short that is not workable. I can leave it up for over a week at a time on a full charge. The "home" app displays the percentage of charge it has and how long that should last it but the time estimate seems to be way higher than accurate. It's also much bigger than i expected but I'm given to understand that most of these video doorbells are this way. That is also because this is the battery operated model which is bigger to accommodate the battery. Pros: Setup was very easy and it walks you through installation if you need it. Installation is also a breeze. Very simple and straightforward with the option to use an angled block behind it or not, to suit your preference. The picture quality is largely dependent on your internet and distance from the router to the doorbell. But it's always been plenty clear enough to tell what or who is in frame. The night vision turns on right when appropriate and makes it very clear. Audio quality is great. I have had conversations with my daughter while I'm at work as she gets home. She can hear me perfectly and I can hear her clearly as well. ... show more

  • Clear Video and Easy Installation
Color: Snow Style: Battery
I’ve been using the Google Nest Doorbell for a while now, and it’s been a big upgrade for my home security. The video quality is sharp both day and night, and the wide field of view helps catch packages or visitors without missing much. Installation was super straightforward battery power means no wiring hassles, and the Nest app made setup quick. Motion alerts and familiar face notifications are useful, and I love that I can check live video right from my phone. Battery life has been good so far, and when it does need a recharge, the app gives plenty of advance notice. The battery lasts about 2-3 months-ish even in the very cold northern Indiana winter, Overall this smart doorbell delivers excellent performance with intuitive features definitely worth it if you want reliable home monitoring. I have the whole google ecosystem and its nice to be able to access all of them from one app. ... show more

  • Sleek, Smart, and Reliable – Perfect for Modern Homes!
Color: Ash Style: Battery
I am beyond satisfied with the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery). I chose the Ash color, and it looks incredibly stylish and modern next to my front door. It’s not just about looks, though—the performance is top-notch. The installation was a breeze since it’s battery-powered, and the video quality is crystal clear with a perfect vertical field of view, allowing me to see packages on the ground and people from head to toe. The smart alerts are very accurate; it distinguishes between people, animals, and vehicles, which prevents unnecessary notifications. As a busy parent, being able to check who’s at the door directly from my phone—or even seeing my son arrive home from baseball practice—is a huge peace of mind. If you’re looking for a doorbell that combines high-end technology with a beautiful aesthetic, this Nest Doorbell is the way to go. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Video is sharp and bright, the audio is clear when/if connected to Google Home
Color: Snow Style: Battery
Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) - Wireless Doorbell Camera - Video Doorbell - Snow -1 Count (Pack of 1), 960x1280p, Motion Only, Sold by: PriceWhack, $167.99, Mar 2024. It works as described. This doorbell was easy to install, easy to connect to wifi, and works as a wonderful addition to our security with no lag in live feed. The camera angle views the entire sidewalk and a good portion of the adjacent patio. The color video is sharp and bright, the audio is clear. It is easy to connect to Google Home which sends a notification per settings when motion is detected. Has familiar face capability to avoid notifying household members; can be set to weed out animals and cars, too. I will be purchasing another for one of our many other doors. Jul 2025 UPDATE demoted from 5 star to 1 star: I had dropped Mar 2024 doorbell when reinstalling after a charge and broke the lens. I bought another one. Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) - Snow, Sold by: Amazon.com, Supplied by: Other, $119.00, Aug 2024. This one will not connect to WiFi. I have taken ALL the steps, many times over the past YEAR. Why didn't I return it? I figured I was doing something wrong and it could be worked through. I separated my network to 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz to ensure it connected to the 2.4. Nope. I spoke with a Google customer service person last night and jumped through ALL the hoops, nope. Then she said to call my internet provider because my internet isn't supporting the doorbell. I asked about the 2.4 and she admitted that was what it needed. When I told her that is directed to 2.4 and I just connected and disconnected 3 nest cameras, a laptop and 2 phones to the 2.4 GHz so it is NOT the internet, she said that's all she could do. ... show more

  • Great product!
Color: Ivy Style: Battery
I ordered two of these during one of the sales, and they have just been wonderful! I love being able to customize the settings of what alerts me, selecting a zone to focus on or have full range. Installation was extremely easy, and charging does not take too long at all with the battery lasting (in a not busy neighborhood and only 2 people coming and going from the house mainly) many days to several weeks. My only complaint is the inconsistency of battery: the doorbell I chose to put at the back door lasts true to what I said about the battery, however the one at the front door dies seemingly every other day. I have adjusted the settings, set a zone, and yet without fail it lasts probably 1/10 the battery life of the other doorbell. It is not awful and I am fine with charging it often, it was just weird to have two products gotten at the same time respond so differently to their lifespans. But, despite the strangeness of the one battery, I absolutely love this product and have several google cameras at this point to keep my home safe, and be able to say hi to folks! ... show more

  • Nice Wireless Doorbell
Color: Ash Style: Battery
The only thing I don't like about this Google Nest doorbell is the inability to store video without paying for some kind of subscription. My old Ring would store some video, but this requires a subscription to save video. You can look at the video once and then it's gone. But it's a good quality product that seems to have a longer lasting battery than my old Ring doorbell. Also interacts with your Google Home app on your cell phone and displays video on Google Next Hub when the doorbell rings, a nice feature. ... show more

  • I bought it 5 months ago and it's at 36%
Color: Ash Style: Battery
It's fantastic. I've had zero problems with it, I connected it immediately and setup notifications on my phone to tell me when someone is at the door. It can be set to not pick-up foot traffic outside of a certain zone, and thus far I've had no problems with it at all. Pros: - The battery life is insane. I bought it at the beginning of June and it's now mid-September, and the battery life estimate is 36 days currently. The time to re-charge it would be maybe a couple hours on a USB-C connection, and I'll probably do that on one of my days off next month when I'm having lunch at home. - Notification speed. When I leave the house, I'm pinged on my Garmin watch within 1-2 seconds that someone was detected at the door. I don't have it setup to recognize me, so it just sees a person at the door, and I'm notified instantly every time. Same when I come home, I'm getting a ping before I even have my keys out. Cons: - The field of view is a little smaller than I would like. If you're quick, you can entirely dodge the camera by moving to the inside of my door. You'll still get picked up, but it's possible to not have your face detected. This is less a flaw of the camera and more the placement that I have to work with, but the option for more FoV in smaller areas like this would be great. - False positives are a thing. If you look at the camera at night by manually accessing it, the camera will detect the change in light from itself and notify you of motion. A little annoying, but you can turn off motion detection pretty easily which will solve the issue entirely. Overall, 5/5 stars for me. I use it every day and it's been an absolute life saver for someone living in an apartment complex with no ability to hard wire a connection. There's a no-drill mount you can get from Wasserstein, that is by far the best one I have found and it's wonderful. You will break the camera before you break the mount (I've had someone try once already), and it's held up wonderfully. Huge recommend on my side. ... show more
