Our home is a townhouse whose door faces another townhouse. We need the doorbell camera to face 90 degree to the right to see people and packages coming through. This works perfectly, allowing steep angling for visibility and detection. The device houses our 2026 ring camera with a perfect fit. There are screws to lock the angle so it stays in place. We also did not want to screw into the wall, so the included sticky attachment works nicely (only hope no one steals this lol). Setup is wonderfully simple and straight forward. Only other question on longer term use is how does the glue fare with cold/hot alternating temperature (gets really cold/hot here seasonally), and holder handles water intake and vent to prevent unwanted growth. I wasn't able to use my Ring doorbell door holder because I got a new front door, so I researched other options that would be renter friendly. Initially I was concerned that the adhesive wouldn't hold up due to reviews I've seen. It's been almost a month, and it's survived rainy weather and is still intact. My boyfriend set it up, and it didn't seem to complicated. I like that you can adjust the mount to swivel in different directions. I honestly don't mess with it too much because I don't want it to fall. It seems to keep the doorbell in securely as you need to secure it in the holder first. I will eventually need to charge the doorbell, which means I'll need to remove it from the wall. I'm not looking forward to taking it down in fear the adhesive won’t stick as before. So far I'm pleased with this purchase. I'll update on how it works after removing the doorbell to charge it. ... show more

I’ve been wanting to try this one out and finally got the opportunity to do so. I needed something that had a good turning angle until I ran into this one. It works really well! I’m unsure as of why some of the reviews say that it falls down but you can actually put the 2 screws that come with it to lock it in place from preventing it from falling as well as lock the camera in place from turning side to side if you choose to do so! Adhesive is pretty strong as well! Comes with extra padding and the back directions says it can also be installed for Blink Cameras as well! You can mount it or use the adhesive, it’s completely up to you. The package came with both adhesive and mounting screws with a screwdriver. I live upstairs and my camera shows all the way downstairs and really a whole fisheye view of everything. I live in apartments so this was perfect! I have a 2nd generation ring doorbell camera if anyone is curious! I also left a few photos as an example of how I placed my camera on the door, how I turned and positioned it, as well as the view from my apartment upstairs. I give it a 5 star for sure!     • It's okay to move your doorbell to the other side of the door.
**The Backstory:** Set up my Ring camera years ago and left it alone—until the blind spots started driving me crazy. I needed to see more driveway and less wall. **The Gamble:** Finally took a chance and relocated the entire doorbell to the opposite side of the entrance. **The Payoff:** Total game changer.     • A little tricky, but it does work well
A little odd. Kind of cumbersome. It seems like they had an idea but got the execution almost right. If you need to recharge the battery every now and then, it is a bit frustrating to open and close. Opening is easy enough. It uses the bottom security screw from the camera. But to close it you have to do this sort of puzzle piece fit on the top and close the bottom just right to get the halves to line up just right. I do like that it came with foam so you can adapt the insides to hold the camera nicely, such that it won't rattle around. And the angle It points can be adjusted finely and locked in with a second security screw. I would have liked heavier plastic and a better open-close design, but it works.
