The media could not be loaded. Ran cleaner through 3 complete cycles and it left large amounts of my pool untouched. I tried all of the floor only cleaning modes and it did not cover my pool in any mode. Spends more time popping wheelies and turning around then it does cleaning the pool. Also bad design of fine filter. the suction pulls debris into the filter in one direction but the handle to pull the robot out of the water is on the wrong side so when the robot hits the water line gravity takes over and all debris is dumped back into the pool. I have a video of this. Very disappointed. This item has many 5 star reviews, all from people who were given the product through the vine program. At least Amazon was truthful about stating that fact. I now have the conundrum of whether I can trust the reviews here on further purchases. I was very excited about this purchase as I have been using the older Osprey 700 max for a few years and its performance was much better even though it did not have the fine filter option that I wanted. It recently started having charging issues and needs replacement. Starting return process.

After only one month, I am quite satisfied. It climbs the walls very well. It picks up fine debris especially with the added filter for Turbo Floor mode. It even climbed the steps to the point I wondered if it would climb right out of the pool. But it maneuvers back and forth and found its own way back to the floor My only problem is that when I remove it from the pool, I have not found a way to do it without leaving behind a small brown cloud that settles back into the pool.

Updating my review after using for 3+ weeks: PROS: - no water hose like Polaris 280, so no hose tangling. - plastic basket instead of a fabric bag. Easier to remove and wash. - wide pass so picks up from floor (where it passes). - an app to set cleaning style - customer service is there but not helpful. - green, blue, amber light - good indicator of status. CONS: - awful programming logics. Misses a lot of floor space. During wall cleaning modes, spend a lot of time on wall at one place. Programs with wall cleaning are really bad. - even several cleanings won’t clean a pool. - heavy. Have to remove from pool after each cleaning and weight feels when filled with water. - not smart enough and have to fetch from all over the pool, sometimes even away from the wall. - poor rubber seal in trash basket. Allows dirt to fall back in pool while lifting the machine out of pool. - requires daily attention, must charge, decide which cleaning mode needed, put in pool, come back to fetch it out of water, clean basket, recharge, repeat. Can’t use it while on vacation away. - does not clean steps - Customer Service - First offered a refund but then after engaging me for days asking to try various program settings, (floor only, floor cross mode only, etc) gave up asking to just return to Amazon. Their position, unit program is not suitable for kidney shaped play pools. LOL. Summarily - entry level pool cleaner at around $550/-. I returned it to Amazon waiting for my refund. Would have kept it if cleaning was not mediocre. A couple of pictures after machine finished its 2 hour cleaning cycle.

Pros: filtering ability is good, pump is strong enough, not too heavy. Cons: misses large areas, doesn’t climb rounded walls (oval shaped pool with built-in seats), gets stuck in spots. I bought this because it looked too good to be true. It was. I ran it in full pool mode (walls then floor), but it got stuck in one spot repeatedly trying to climb the wall near the bench seat. I put it in floor only mode (I can scrub the walls with a brush if I need to) and ran it for a full 2.5 hour cycle, charged the battery for 3 hours, cleaned the filter and ran another full cycle in floor only mode (same day). The results are pictured. It cleaned a very nice X pattern in the pool and the rest of the floor was still dirty. I returned it and Amazon refunded me.

Very disappointed. The unit takes 3 hours to charge and only ranless than 2 hours please keep in mind the lithium ion batteries weaken over time so the run time will be less and less over the life of the robot. 2 hour run time would be acceptable IF the power of the unit was strong enough to clean the entirity of the pool....it was not :( Additionally, the hook that comes with it does not work well the pool cleaner slipped off several times, it was a bit of a struggle. I am going back to the corded pool vacs as the rechargable ones seem to be more work with less power and run time restrictions. Hope this is helpful.
