Makes your arms burn like you wouldn't believe I had one back in the day but it was just made out of PVC pipe this is a bit better LOL

    • Slips off spool
Great piece of equipment, only complaint is that it slips off the section designated to wind up the band into a spool. Is that comprehensible? Maybe I have bad form, but the rope sometimes slips away from where it is supposed to wind up, making its way to either hand, throwing off the balance of the weight. I remember using a homemade version, using a section of a broom stick, a metal loop fastened in the middle, a rope, and a carabiner to keep the weight plates from slipping off the rope. Does the same job and is an easy diy project. I like the quality and the comfort of the foam grips. Its good for people who prefer legitimate equipment rather than diy equipment, but the main appeal was the track to wind up the cable, which does NOT work as well as I had hoped. ... show more

    • It works!
It definitely works. Is that not what you want? I would say the only issue with this product is that the handles are made of comfy foam. This will wear over time for sure but it hasn't yet with me. The strap appears cheap but its actually strong as hell.
