Description

Only $89 for a fully-featured, powerful, compact cordless chainsaw to take on tasks around the yard. Of course, this tool is less expensive because it doesn’t come with a battery. But if you’re already a Worx Power Share user, you’ve probably got a 20V battery at home you can use to power this tool. The auto-tension and auto-oiling systems on this 10” 20V Chainsaw keep it in tip- top running condition. It prevents against over-tightening, and the 3/8” chain pitch chain will always run smoothly around the bar at 3.7 m/s on account of the optimal lubrication. The 4.5 fl oz oil tank is marked with an oil level indicator, so you’ll know when it’s time to refill. The compact and lightweight construction of this saw means it’s easier to maneuver, and it’s easier to use for those that may have been intimidated by larger chainsaws in the past. The on-board battery gauge will let you know how much charge you have left for the job. And the over-mold soft-grip rear handle gives you good control and is comfortable to use at the same time. An optional pole saw attachment (WA0167, not included) can be added for up to 10 feet of reach, so you can trim tree limbs with this saw. You don’t need to get on a ladder to cut down problematic branches anymore.

  • Well Made, Not Heavy & Perfect for Us Ladies...
Size: Tool Only
My husband laughed when I told him I wanted to buy this particular chainsaw for cutting small trees on our property. His chainsaw was way too heavy for me & I had a hard time starting it because it was gas powered. I was also sick & tired of waiting for him to cut the trees needing to be cut. Earlier in the season, I bought a WORX Leafblower which came with 2 batteries so I used those batteries & bought this chainsaw! BEST BUY EVER! My husband now sneaks MY CHAINSAW out when I'm not around! I've cut 6 inch trees with it but mostly focus on smaller box elder type trees which block the light from my oak trees. The light weight makes it easy to maneuver & nothing beats the electronic batteries! Each battery has lasted me around 30 minutes of intense nonstop cutting but I highly recommend buying 2 batteries or the WORX Chainsaw that already comes with 2 batteries. It's easy to put the chain on & it's also easy to adjust it. The first couple of times you need to tighten the chain after a few cuts because it loosens up which is normal I am told, but it's super easy to tighten it with a turn of the knob. And I like the fact that I can take the batteries off when I start fooling around with the chain. It's an extra safety precaution I like to take. You need to buy bar chain oil & I would recommend buying an extra chain or two. Very very very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • A neat looking toy but not functional
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
Maybe mine was defective but after 12 hours of charging the battery I tried to cut limbs on a plum tree. The chain would bite into the wood and then kick off and frankly it was dangerous. Apparently the blade does not spin fast enough so it sort of hacks at the wood and if you hold it really, really firmly and press down on the target branch it manages to hack its way through but leaves a nasty jagged branch. Not acceptable at any price but boy, it looks really neat. I know from decades of using chain saws of all sizes and brands that if the speed is not sufficient a chain saw will bounce off the log. This battery powered saw needs to spin about three times faster so the chain will not ricochet off the target. But since there are so many good reviews I have to be suspicious that the one I returned to Amazon had a defective motor because nobody would agree that mine was a four or five star. So, beware. Don't take a chance on one if it tends to bounce off the wood. You can overcome the bouncing and hacking with applied pressure but it will hang up and pull the saw out of your hand unless you have really strong grip. It is not safe to operate in that situation. I have a Worx cordless blower which works really well. It has the same battery and I tested that battery in this saw. The result was the same. ... show more

  • Another WORX homerun!!!
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
I don't write many reviews but this chainsaw blew me away. I have a WORX weed wacker and a WORX blower and I love the ease of operation for both-still, a chainsaw is a tall order. BUT, It exceeded my expectations on first use. Now, it's not for lumberjacks but I didn't need a monster saw anyways. It cut 4 inch limbs with ease and that's just what I needed. Oil and tension are automatic and no more dealing with the nightmare of a two stroke engine. CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT IT!!! I'm just mad I didn't buy it long ago. WAY TO GO WORX-you have never disappointed me. ... show more

  • Tough little machine
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
I've never owned a chainsaw, and certainly not a cordless one. So I was a bit skeptical. But this little Worx saw made me a believer in the new generation of cordless tools. I've been sawing through all kinds of branches, all the way up to about 6 inches (just rock it back and forth for a bit and you'll be amazed). The battery life is good, but I was having so much fun I bought the bigger battery. If you have a lot of wood to manage, this is a great solution. No gasoline storage issues, no smells. You do have to keep your eye on the oil level and top that off about as often as you recharge the battery. It handles well, and the chain only popped off a couple of times when I was clearly pushing my luck with a too large stump. Not a big deal to reset and tighten. Love this. ... show more

  • It cut the tree like a warm knife through butter
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
The media could not be loaded. When the lockdown happened in March-June where I live, I decided that it was a good time to get some yard work done. Needless to say, it did not happen when time was on my side so 3 months later I finally decided it was time to get it done. Woke up this morning, my roommate figured out how to attach the blade and we headed out. My brother showed up halfway through my first cut, said something about cutting a wedge, took the chainsaw and proceeded to cut down the tree. I got this saw because it seemed like a size I could manage, I'll never know. My dad planted that mango tree more than 40 years ago. I guess the other trees that need to be cut will happen without me. They decided it was worth 5.5 stars. It took down that entire tree. We did have to swap out the battery 3 times to get the job done, so I took half a star off for that. ... show more

  • Light weight and well balanced.
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
It is light weight and well balanced. I have two gas powered chainsaws that work great but I need one for limb trimming and working on steep hill side. The Worx Chainsaw is the one. No pulling of a cord, no heavy and bulky saw, now I can work in better safer conditions. I don't use this saw for larger trees, just limbs and saplings. ... show more

  • Decent saw
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
I just needed to cut a few branches less than 4 inches. Maybe 50. Tightening the chain is easy. But I forgot when I was cutting through 15 little branches at once and the chain slipped. But I was tired. And so was the saw. We took a break. I only had to use 2 hands on a higher limb. I like this light weight saw that tells me when to give up after 20 minutes! ... show more

  • Our New Xmas Chainsaw!
Size: 20V 10" Chainsaw
The PERFECT option for our annual Christmas Tree hunt! This little guy is amazing! So easy to set up, and use. The batteries seem to last a VERY long time and the best part, it’s the same battery I use in my WORX weed whacker. We always go out to the Christmas tree farm and cut down our trees. In the past we’ve always use the rental saws, which meant you were laying in the snow or the mud and trying to cut down a tree at an awkward angle. This guy is now our designated Christmas Chainsaw! ... show more
