Seventh Generation Multi-Surface Disinfecting Cleaner kills 99.99% of household germs including cold and flu viruses. I love the fragrance, husband doesn't like the fragrance but it is mild enough that he doesn't complain. This is my go to disinfectant for kitchen and bath. Spray bottle mechanisms are usually very good too (a common issue with most spray bottles it seems).

    • I've used this product to clean and sanitize my sink EVERY NIGHT for about 5 years!
I LIKE that this product has fewer ingredients that I don't really want to use in my kitchen. Its no-rinsing needed, food area safe formula makes it great for even disinfecting my kitchen sinks each night after I've cleaned them: I use it to clean off foods and obvious kitchen sink "yuck" and then just spritz the sinks and leave them. I'm confident that most germs are eliminated within a few minutes--following the directions! No bleach, no ammonia, no harsh chemicals. I wish it didn't have sodium laurel sulfate in it, but I'm guessing it MUST have an ingredient like that to help clean germy residue, and it does a good job of that. The spray nozzle sends an appropriate amount out of the bottle, but sometimes I put the product into another glass bottle with a nozzle that puts out a finer a mist--that makes it last even longer. Either way, I feel pretty good about my sinks without using super harsh chemicals. I do use the spray on other surfaces too, but I definitely recommend it for the kitchen. I wish I could still get large refill bottles, but I don't find those anywhere anymore. ... show more

Absolutely love this disinfectant spray. I use it everywhere, in my house, and in an emergency even used it to spray down a geranium plant covered in some disease! (Plant survived and then thrived after two applications!) I love that it’s natural but carries the guarantee of killing germs like Lysol etc. Smell is a surprise at first: the thymol, but ok. No issues for me and I’m allergic to many scents. Can’t do without this! ... show more

    • Good Cleaner with a Strong Scent
I have recently discovered Seventh Generation cleaners. Although I prefer the scent of the basic cleaner, I was looking for an alternative with disinfecting properties. The scent of this cleaner is quite strong to me and different, but we are getting used to it. If you do not care for lemongrass which is decidedly different from lemon, the scent may be jarring for you. Note, I purchased this twice. Bottom line is this is a good cleaner. ... show more

    • Perfect all purpose cleaner!
This is my favorite multi purpose cleaner now that I've broken up with Mrs Meyer's. I have four cats and the fragrance/essential oils in Mrs Meyer's multi purpose cleaners were starting to bother two of them, so I switched over to this old standby and use almost nothing else now. It cleans well, the nozzle always lasts, I've never had an issue there, and I feel confident in its disinfectant abilities so long as you do leave the surface damp for ten minutes- I do a pre clean where I spray and wipe off the surfaces, then I just go around spraying stuff and let it air dry, which takes about 10-15 minutes. It is not counter perfume tho- I don't love the smell tbh but I think I've gotten too used to heavily fragranced cleaners. It just smells kind of like a damp herbal smell, but I'll take it over all the other stuff I've used that probably gave me a headache lol. I've even started mopping with it, I just pour a bottle into my bona spray mop! It doesn't dissolve everything on our tile floor in one go but it's a nice basic clean, and with all our cats I appreciate the fact that it feels harmless, disinfects and dries with absolutely no residue! Love this cleaner! It’s kid and dog friendly and it’s smells great and cleans up amazing. I use it on 99% of my cleaning. I love that I can use it on kid toys for a quick clean and let it dry and then the kid toys are good to be played again so quickly.

I love this band. I use this stuff on EVERYTHING! It cleans well and effectively its not greasy or leaves a fild behind. The smell of it is probably the worst thing because it is HEAVILY fragranced. Like you can clean in the am and still smell it in the evenings which i don’t necessarily care for but i love the product so much i get over that. ... show more
