I noticed my food and beverages were tasting like soap after running through the dishwasher with a popular brand of dishwasher pod. I started to wash my dishes after they ran through the dishwasher to remove soap and residue. Once I realized what a waste of time and money THAT was, I switched to Seventh Generation and could not be happier! These work so well. Dishes are very clean, no residue, no soap taste. They seem to work really well with the HE dishwashers, whereas the other brand was almost TOO strong because of how little water the HE appliances use. I switched to this detergent after constantly dealing with white residue from other dishwasher pods. I also bought those trendy silicone food containers from TikTok, and they kept holding on to smells no matter what I did. Someone recommended this detergent—and wow, total game changer. FINALLY a natural, family safe Asian soap that actually works!!! There’s no residue left on our dishes!!! I used Molly Maid’s and although that was a healthier alternative than the terrible brands I used in the past, they left a white powdery substance on everything. I love that these pods are made with clean, plant-based ingredients, it feels good knowing I’m not using harsh chemicals on our dishes. Most of the time they work well, but occasionally they leave some water spots or don’t get everything completely clean, especially on tougher loads. The only dishwasher soap that works! Leaves no residue and my dishes and dishwasher are sparkling clean! We have hard water and use a water softening system. This product works well with our softened water. Great!
