I love this set. They look great and have a comfortable weight. My one complaint is that the spoon and fork handles are a bit more narrow than the knives and can slide through standard dishwasher silverware baskets. I have ended up laying them flat in an upper rack. Arguably this is a fault of the dishwasher basket, but it would be nice if they were al like the knives, which do not fall through. Some comment about the spoons being too deep or hard to eat with, and the shape is different from your typical spoon, but I do not find this off putting or an issue. ... show more

They are very modern and very slim. I have 10 sets of 5. I used them for happy hour appetizers. My guest love them. I hand wash them they are to precious to put in the dishwasher and you can account to make sure you got them all.

Ok ya'll.... These are chopstick style flatware. I lived in Japan for three years. Sure, they don't use these kinds of American spoons, forks, or knives. Spoons are Chinese style and meant to slurp from the side not front. ok? I do wish this was in the description. Chinese, Japanese ans Korean do not use forks and whatnot. It's all about the chopsticks. There are special spoons in Japan used... Not like American Chinese restaurants. U have to know they basically only use chopsticks no matter what and these are Asian. They don't use butter knives but these are SO sharp. I ran one against my leg to test and it drew blood. So .... Be careful. FYI I'm not a vampire. 😝 I like both the small and large forks just cuz I prefer them. About the reviews saying they fall off ur plate.... Well u have to place them as u would chopsticks. I turn mine upside down. Plz don't poke them upright since that's only done at a funeral. I've run some through the dishwasher and had only water spots. No rust. I'll update if they start rusting. Hopefully nor cuz they're great. So far , so good. They've had water spots but no rust. If it develops, I'll revise my review. Thx !!! ... show more

We fell in love with this flatware at Le Blanc Spa in Cancun. The only issue is that the handles are so narrow that you must load them in the dishwasher spoon or fork side down or they slip thru the silverware basket and stop the rotating sprayer in our dishwasher. The smaller fork go thru even when you load them tine down. I love the look and the feel and how the knife balances on it's cutting edge. We don't have a water softener and the care directions stated hard water could spot the flatware. So all in all a very expensive set of flatware because now I have to buy a water softner! ... show more

When I got married, having no experience picking out silverware I chose my set based on appearance only. Lessons learned over the years brought us to a new set. My biggest issues with the old set were that they had an oversized handle, so they were very bulky both for storage in our drawer and for washing in the dishwasher. In addition, the handle made them so heavy and unbalanced that unless there was significant food on the plate or in the bowl, it would tip right back and fall off/out. The larger dinner sizes of the fork and spoon were too big for my liking as well, so we had half the usability of the whole set. So I set out to find a slimmer, sleeker, smaller set. And WOW did I find it! This set is absolutely beautiful. As others have noted, the handles are very thin and the design of the pieces is very slender, so if you are looking for a heftier set that you can really get a hearty forkful of food at a time this is probably not the set for you. UPDATE 6/8: We have had rusting issues with some pieces, mainly the knifes. I suggest washing these by hand when possible, especially the knifes. ... show more
