Bought these to carry kayak on our Toyota Prius, which is towed behind our motorhome. They work really well for the stated purpose, have stayed tight and seems like they will last. My only complaint it that the straps are slightly too short, and I have to use pliers to crank them down tight. Once on they hold well though. If I had one more foot it would eliminate the issue. Was a little difficult to figure out how to install at first, but I have it down now. Good value.

Works perfectly. Only downside is the straps hang inside the car where my head needs to be while driving and where passengers sit In the back seat too. Not something I can leave on the car all the time but it is easy to put on and off

Love these roof pads!! I'm a frequent kayaker in the summer and these worked perfectly for getting my kayak to the lake! Getting them tight take a bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out they work great!
