I had no idea how much I needed precise measuring tools. I was looking for a six-inch pocket rule. It was fortuitous that I purchased all three, and so glad that I did. I find myself doing so much more than with these rulers. Many applications that have replaced my tape and 15” metal ruler. The stops allow for accurate measurements for countless applications that I never thought of before. Having three rulers with stops, I can compare measurements using two or all three tools. I needed some additional precision rulers, so thought I would try these out. Very happy I did. I checked other sets out and the reviews for this set were in line with what I was looking for. After using these for a while now, I am also really happy about getting the set, rather than just one. I didn't realize how nice it is to have three different sizes. I do now! These are accurate enough for what I need. One thing I like is how stable the slides are. The dual-bolt system is quite nice and ensures no movement without needing to over-tighten! I would recommend this set again and again!

As a lifelong wood worker I have always used a combination square but have found them awkward to scribe lines accurately. These work great. Slide along the edge of a board easily and smoothly. I also enjoy the 3 different sizes. Keep the small one in my shop apron.

These rules are well built and are extremely useful around the shop. At first the matte finish put me off on the appearance, however the are very easy to read in any lighting condition. I live in the desert and the sun light can make reading measurements hard with the glare, but these are great. Accuracy is much better the all the tape measures I have and the short 7 in on lives in my shop apron. The photo shows a comparison to a very expensive presion straight edge. On that note having the scale go to 7 inches allows for setting the stops to 5.5 inches , a common offset for me. I looked at making some off these but for the low cost I gave them a shot. I am glad I did.
