These rules are well built and are extremely useful around the shop. At first the matte finish put me off on the appearance, however the are very easy to read in any lighting condition. I live in the desert and the sun light can make reading measurements hard with the glare, but these are great. Accuracy is much better the all the tape measures I have and the short 7 in on lives in my shop apron. The photo shows a comparison to a very expensive presion straight edge. On that note having the scale go to 7 inches allows for setting the stops to 5.5 inches , a common offset for me. I looked at making some off these but for the low cost I gave them a shot. These pocket rulers arrived neatly packaged. They are very flat and have a smooth finish and the edges are nicely finished and very square corners. The markings are accurate, easy to read and come in 1/16-inch and 1/32-inch graduations on one side and 1/16-inch and 1 mm on the other side. The end scales come in 1/32-inch graduations on one side and 1 mm on the other. The rule stops slide smoothly and the knurled knobs easily tighten without much effort and firmly holds the rule stops in place. I was originally looking for only one ruler but at this price, I can't complain. A no-brainer in recommending these rules to anyone, or everyone. ... show more

I love this little pocket ruler! I used a combination square for years, however it didn’t fit in my pocket. This little guy fits right in my pocket and is darned handy. Weather you are setting depths on a router, or marking a line along the edge of your material, this little ruler works great. Setting up a table saw is sweet with this little ruler. Just set it to 1/8 past the desired size and place it against the blade. Then run your fence up the end of the ruler. So many uses for this ruler. ... show more

I really can't afford Woody Woodpackers version, so I bought this set - hoping to have something that would be close to the same quality. These are made out of the same anodized aluminum, square and the measurement markings dead-on accurate! I would loved to have purchased from an American manufacturer and an American company, but they caused it - by making their tools too expensive for the weekend hobbyist woodworker. Who cares??? I now have the same quality, accuracy and precision tools that will last a lifetime - for a lot less! I highly recommend!!! ... show more
