I like this tape measure. I have always trusted DeWalt and this tape measure did not let me down. Nice and thick. I have had it out to 10' without bending or twisting. It shows fractions which is a plus. The numbers are large and easy to read without my reading glasses, another plus for me. The lock and clip work good. It is very rugged and good quality. My only complaint is that the when the tape measure is set down on a surface it rests on the catch at the end of the tape and does not rest on the case itself. It's one of the best measuring tapes in my tool box but I do want to call out their advertising where they claim a 13' ft. max reach. I tested the claim just for fun only to find that its accurate max reach is 125" in. (repeatedly) I did find it over priced for what it is but what isn't now in these days. ... show more

Extends and retracts smoothly. Tape stays rigid out to a very long length. Nice and durable but not too heavy. However, the width you need to add when measuring with the body of the tape measure is an unusual 3 5/8 inches. Math is hard.
