The Stanley FMHT74038A fatmax® 25 foot tape measure, 2PK is extra tough and durable thanks to industrial-grade blade Armor® coating on the first 3" and a high-impact ABS case. The tape measure offers an 11' blade standout, with a 1-1/4" wide blade for easy readability. It has 16" and 19.2" stud center markings simplify framing jobs. It also features a three-rivet, corrosion- resistant Tru-Zero® end hook for accurate measurements. The Mylar® polyester Film extends the life of entire blade. The top-forward blade Lock makes locking and unlocking easy, along with a specially designed multi-catch hook which grabs on top or bottom for versatility. A high-impact ABS case with durable rubber-holds up to heavy use, and the cushion grip provides comfortable, slip-resistant hold. Backed by Stanley limited lifetime warranty. I’m committed to buying stanly fatmaxes. They’re the best tape I’ve tried for rigidity, accuracy and longitivtiy. The only reason for 4 stars is because the screw for the clip on the backside of it was loose, and I had to buy a small screwdriver to tighten it up because I didn’t have one small enough. Also, I recommend wiping with a rag whenever it gets wet and putting some oil on the tape every now and then to protect it from rust. ... show more

I love the Fatmax model. Easy to hold on to, winds smooth. Takes a few drops like a champ. I do put a bit of lubricant on the switch though because it's fastened too tight, but other than that they have been a dream. I've bought one for everyone on my gutter team now.

The quality and durability of the fat max tape measure are the best in the industry. I use a 25 foot daily, they last me a year or so, I keep a 35ft in my arsenal for the larger rooms and longer hallways. I finally wore mine out and needed to replace it, great tape measure at a great price!
