I've dealt with tight back and neck muscles for years and I have all sorts of gadgets, tools and massagers to help combat it. However, this is the best massager I've used hands down! Massage guns can be awkward and tiring to hold and you can't easily get to your back yourself. I also have a back and neck massager that is a strap and you hold with your hands/arms. That's better but then you have to contort your arms to get it in the various spots along your back. However, the Snailax Shiatsu Massage Cushion does the work for you! You just set it up on a chair, sit on it and turn it on. It really does all the work for you. It will go up and down your back for you - kneading you back the entire time. There are different functions you can select like just on your upper or lower back. It even has a spot feature to have the massager focus on a specific area. While doing that, you can have your tush and back legs massaged with the vibrational cushion. All of this plus heat. I've only had this a couple of weeks but I have already noticed huge improvements in my neck and shoulders. If you have a chronically tight neck or back and find it hard to get to all the spots, I strongly recommend this massager. I love it so much, I got one for my dad for Christmas.

This gets sore spots deeply and you can adjust it to stay in one area or massage your full back. It is very relaxing and loosens tight areas. The heat applied is wonderful and there is a vibration chose which also adds to your muscles relaxing. The price was so reasonable for what is provided. I also have the foot massager which is just as great!!!

I used my seat massager immediately upon receiving it. I never used a seat massager before, but I guess I was missing something. A very nice back massage. Worth the money!

Due to spinal damage, I deal with chronic pain in my back. I wanted something to use to ease the pain between chiropractic sessions when I bought this. I have got to say, it does a good job. There are some pros and cons though Pros: the power stays consistent even when I have to lean back heavier into it on bad back days. It really kneads my back and shoulder muscles unlike those machines that just vibrate. The control is easy to operate and being able to choose how and where it massages is great. It is very light weight and compact enough I would take it anywhere I may be sitting for extended periods. It has a timer so if you happened to forget to turn it off, no problem. It has a "breakaway" connection so if you happen to turn or move the chair too far it won't yank it out of the socket causing possible damage or bring you to a sudden stop. Cons: it is rigid so using it in a chair with a contoured back isn't so great. I had to use a strap I had to secure the lower portion so it would stop pushing me towards the edge of the seat. For it to be against the chair back, the bottom kicks out leaving less surface to actually place your rump. That comfy sweet spot we make from sitting gets infringed upon. If you are tall, I'm 6ft/182cm, it stops just before the top of my shoulder blades before my lower neck and just high of my hips. The timer can be a con as having to keep restarting it can become annoying. Also, wherever it stops when time is up is where it stays which can be uncomfortable and annoying in itself so you may end up having to turn it on again anyway. All things considered, I like it. It does a good massage and would probably work best with chairs that have a relatively straight back. I look forward to seeing if its longevity confirms it being a worthwhile investment. Update: it's power is beginning to wane. Its movement up and down is taking longer to complete a cycle.

This is the first chair style massager I've ever purchased. I have been going to the chiropractor for the past year and wanted to find something similar to the table roller that relieves tension in your while back from top to bottom and goes around the spine. This massager has good power/strength, and the feeling of the nibs that spin around is nice. Works well for the center part of the back. I just feel like the pad isn't long enough. My problem spots are my upper back/shoulders/neck, and my very lower back near my butt at l5/s1. When seated normally, the rollers never go down far enough to hit my back pain, nor do they go high enough to really hit my shoulders and neck. So there's a lot of maneuvering and trying to find a position that can tackle the area you want, unless your problem area is the center of your back. This also requires a very deep chair. It doesn't really work at all for my desk chair, because it takes up half of the seat, leaving me putting my butt on the very edge. This would work best in a recliner or a fancy deep seated office chair that's straight back with no lumbar curve. + for power and how good it does feel where it reaches - for needing to be adjusted so much to hit problem areas I would recommend to others, just bearing in mind that it's not perfect. It's still a quite nice massager, especially for the price.
