Description

The MILWAUKEE 25ft Wide Blade Magnetic Tape Measures have the longest, straightest standout and up to 17' of reach to take long measurements. The straightest standout makes it easier to measure long distances alone by reducing blade arc. A magnetic hook easily attaches to EMT and steel studs. The tape measures are wear and impact-resistant with nylon bond blade protection and an additional coating on the first 6” of the blade, reducing tape tear. The measuring tapes are constructed with a 5-point reinforced frame for impact resistance.

    • So far my favorite tape.
I work as a tin knocker and ive been on the search for my most ideal tape measure. It has to be wide blade for maximum extension, good locking mechanism, markings on both sides so measuring across the ceiling for hangers isnt a pain in the butt, and lasts a good while. Ive tried the Fat Max, Dewalt tapes, and other Milwaukee tapes and none of them worked well for me or didnt last very long, but this one is a keeper. ... show more

    • Quality you would expect from Milwaukee!
The best feature for me is the magnetic hook. I cannot overstate how important the magnetic hook is when working with ferrous metals. It's like having an extra hand around when needed most! Saves a lot of frustration when trying to measure things by yourself. It is also incredible how far this tape measure will stand out before collapsing! The tape is also bright with vivid color and super easy to read and I love being able to control the rate of return by using the lock button and my finger to slow things down when the tape is retracting. Probably the best tape measure I have ever owned. I would definitely buy again! ... show more

The tape line I received was nice but it is not the one pictured it's not the wide blade not worth the few bucks difference to take my time to send it back so try a different seller

    • Won't stay hooked.
If you need to measure a board like a 2"x4" for cutting, good luck. The tab on the end will not stay on the end of the board. The tape is so curves that less than 1/8" is left to hook onto the end of the board. The only way to combat the slippage is to stick a piece of metal to the end of the board and then the magnet will hold the clip in place. Otherwise, you have to get a different tape measure. Also, the reach is less than 7 feet. And then it is wobbly so you can't keep it against the wall. Maybe up to 5 feet can be measured from a corner down the wall without someone holding the end of the tape in place, or again, you can attach a piece of metal to the side wall and it will stay. This is not a good tape for carpentry work. I would not recommend it to any one using it mostly for wood work. ... show more

My husband works in commercial HVAC and he needed a measuring tape that he could extend long distances and was easy to read. This one was perfect for him. It’s wide so he was able to extend it 14 ft without it bending. It also has large numbers and it’s easy to distinguish the feet markings. There was one small hiccup with our delivery but when we reached out to customer service, they responded to us quickly to help us resolve the issue.
